The food was phenomenal!! Taste of Italy is in my best restaurant list in the valley! I tried a few apps (our table shared), and they were all soo good! The eggplant, meatballs, breaded mozzarella…so good!My main dish, the seafood risotto, was amazing! The tiramisu and cannolis were perfect! I will definitely be going back soon!
We have been eating at restaurants in the Lehigh Valley for 18 years and consider the Taste of Italy in Hellertown to be far and away the best Italian restaurant in the Valley. The quality of food is beyond excellent. We hear that you need reservations most nights so we visit the restaurant for lunch . The portions are large and the prices are within reason. Lunch day after Valentine's Day and place was empty but that was an advantage for us.Meadow served us well.A calm demeanor with patience to help us figure out the different Italian dishes.The daily special board offered great choices like the lobster fritti and the crab cake fritters.We later added the lasagna because it can be a popular dish highlighting use of cheeses, red sauce and assembly.
