Small homey resteraunt that serves a fantastic breakfast. Ordered the cream chip beef skillet (special for the day), and was by far the best cream chipped beef I have ever had. Flavors were all on point and delicious! If there is a wait, I'd definitely recommend holding out and eating here.

W had dinner here for the first time Saturday evening, (we had there food at an awsom event once and loved it, just never went) it's sort of hidden on back roads, which makes it that much better!!! Every staff member was friendly, attentive, they worked as a team to make sure everybody had great food, in a clean environment while doing it in a timely manner. the food was great!!! We will definitely be coming back!

We have a family cabin in Cresco. We came for lunch last week while we were in the area. All of our food was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend the Mulligatawny Soup if you see it on the specials board. Absolutely fabulous!

Been meaning to come here a while and glad we finally did. The food and service was fantastic.

While is a little small inside so table numbers are limited, it is well worth the wait time. If you're in the area, we highly recommend and we'll defo be back.

This place is a cute little country gem. The food is fantastic. The employees work hard and are a pleasure to talk to. The bathrooms are clean. My daughter and I went shopping at the outlets and stopped in for a bite to eat. It's an hour away from home and I would drive that distance again just for the food. This should be on your bucket list. Support this business. You won't regret it.

I would have given this place five stars if it was not for the attitude of the hostess and the waitress seating us. When we arrived we were told that we needed to stay outside because there were no tables available. After we sat down outside another couple sat down and started smoking. Being allergic to cigarette smoke We stood up and went inside. The waitress who was at the cash register very frantically told us that we absolutely had to wait outside. When I explained to her that We could not be near cigarette smoke due to asthma, She promptly told me that that she couldn't help that but I needed to still wait outside. We were eventually seated and our waitress was great. Very friendly and attentive. Great service from her. The prices were a bit daunting. $26 for scallops but they were huge and one serving of mashed potatoes was equivalent to about three servings. Surprisingly they served no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce with the scallops. I asked for some tartar sauce and was given it promptly. When we went to pay the bill I was charged a dollar extra for the tartar sauce. We questioned the hostess about it and received a minute long speech about how tartar sauce is not a condiment and asked in a very curt tone, "have you seen how much the price of mayonnaise has gone up lately? And by the way tartar sauce is not a condiment" (well, according to multiple websites tartar sauce is a condiment, dear lady) . I told her every other restaurant we have ever been to that served seafood typically served tartar sauce or Cocktail sauce. She did take it off the bill making sure that we knew the waitress would get a talking to. Really? When I'm paying $26 for scallops you're going to nickel and dime me for a tablespoon of tartar sauce? With all of that being aside, the food was absolutely delicious. I would have very easily giving them five stars if it wasn't for the attitude of these two women. Again OUR waitress was absolutely wonderful

Busy little american diner with limited variety of foods on menu, but some not so common selections. We were asked to wait outside as they were full and would call us in when a table opened up. Weather was good so that was not a problem. However, another couple was also waiting and was smoking. I am allergic to smoke so went inside to wait. That's when one of the hostesses got a bit rude about me waiting inside. We were seated quickly and noted that the prices for a diner seemed quite high. However, the portions served were huge and worth the higher cost. Our dinners of scallops and also the schnitzel were very tasty. The server was pleasant and efficient. However, the bill showed an extra charge for tartar sauce that we requested for the scallops. Sorry, but in my book tartar sauce is a condiment, and I've never been charged for this as I would have been for onions on a steak or something like that. They did remove this off our bill, bud tried to explain that with the high cost of mayonnaise these days they had no choice. Never heard that one before. Would have given a higher overall score if not for the rude greeting at the beginning and the nickel/dime charge for tartar sauce on a $26 dinner.

We were out of town, but found this place on a recommendation from locals and we're glad we ate there. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was fantastic and the owner was very friendly. It's a small restaurant, so there might be a wait to be seated, but worth the wait.

There's so much I could say about this hidden little gem. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING here was fantastic. The interior was very clean, quiet and cozy. We were greeted immediately upon entering and they allowed us to sit wherever we wanted. Their menu has a LOT of options, especially when considering special dishes. We opted to start with the Thai Spring rolls which were delicious. Four our entrees we got the Penne Alla Vodka with Chicken and garlic bread, and the Fried Haddock with mashed potatoes and beets. Everything tasted super fresh and was very flavorful without being salty or greasy. We couldn't stop savoring the food. We did try some of their desserts, but unfortunately we didn't get any photos. We got the German Chocolate Cake and the Peach Struesel, both of which were absolutely delicious. Literally ALL the food we got was marvelous; an easy 12/10. Also, the portions are HUGE!

Be aware that they don't serve any alcoholic beverages here. Honestly, I like that they don't, as it makes things much easier in terms of ordering. I usually try to pair my alcoholic drinks with my food, so it's less to worry about, especially with the casual atmosphere they have set up.

The waiter service here was fantastic and quick, and we never felt rushed or pressured while ordering and dining. For what we paid, we were stuffed to the brim and still took plenty of leftovers with us. If I had to point out anything potentially wrong with this restaurant, I would say that their exterior should have a big sign or some way to grab the attention of a passing car. It was a little too plain for our tastes, but honestly that's just trying to find issues, because we had absolutely no issues whatsoever. This place is a MUST if you're in the area in Pennsylvania, and I'm planning to drive all the way from Westchester, NY to eat here again. It's THAT good.
