“I’ve had scottos since they were in the mall when I was a child! Their food is amazing and brings me back to my childhood. My husband and I now take trips to the restaurant (we live almost 40 mins away) to have it every now and then. So worth it!”

“I normally choose to dine at the other Mexican restaurant in Hermitage, but went with family for lunch the other day to La Isla. It was pretty busy for lunch on a weekday, but we still had no wait.

I was surprised by how cheap their lunch options were- I had the Burrito Grande and it was $7.99 for everything you see in the picture! I had enough for a second meal, though I didn’t think I would at first, but that’s also probably because I filled up on chips and salsa. The salsa is more blended compared to other places I’ve been, and I don’t particularly enjoy chunky salsa so that’s a win.

I typically choose dishes at Mexican restaurants with shredded beef options, which La Isla does not have (at least on their lunch menu), although they have chopped beef, which is not as good in my opinion. For the burrito grande, I chose ground beef and it was pretty good.

While the food was good, I don’t think it was as high quality as the other restaurant’s, and the flavor profile was simpler and not as stand-out “Mexican”. It was a good meal, but not one that stood out and encourages me to come back.”

“Had a large group in the back room tonight. Our server, Amanda was fantastic! Our drinks were always full, food came out fast and delicious. She offered suggestions, answered questions and even got in with us on teasing my husband. We had an amazing experience and will be back soon”

“we had dinner here this afternoon. We had the steak and a baked potato. Our waiter was Nickolas. He was very attentive. Our steaks were cooked exactly the way we ordered them. Loved the bread and garlic butter.”

“When you look at the price for a meal, just realize you will eat at least twice, if not three times from that one meal! They give you SO much! Also, on our first visit I was put off reading the menu that a meal comes with one roll and additional rolls were $1 The rolls are HALF A LOAF OF BREAD! 🤣 Bottom line, the food is amazing, they give you a TON of it and the service is hometown friendly. I can't recommend them enough!”

“We love the upside down cones... You have to get it upside down in a cup because even the small is HUGE! There is no way you can eat it on the cone without it melting all over everything... ❤❤❤❤ We actually started getting our dinner there as well... Awesome burgers and dog... that's all we have try but the list of yummy things go on and on..”

They were so busy.
Wait staff was excellent. Some of the Salad bar items weren’t filled… I realize that happens when many people are rushing through.

I had the fish with mushrooms (which I shared with my chauffeur for the day). Tom had a 3 meat sub and was very happy with it.

You need to try them out. But make it early they close at 2pm.”

“Selection is decent, little off putting that everything was half cover with plastic wrap. Made me feel like a lot of it was not very fresh. Lighting is pretty bad, if there was signage for any of the products I sure couldn't find it. Donuts seemed a little under cooked and the cake donuts were just not good. Dry and lacked flavor. The filled ones were better. The woman who took care of us was very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Loved the service but not the products unfortunately. M&m cookies were had a weird taste. Filled donuts would recommend for sure, the jam was sweet but tasty.”

“toppings were left off and Stromboli came with the smallest amount of filling I've ever seen...6 pepperoni..literally I could count them..on a lg deluxe Stromboli...never ever again..I've never thrown away so much food in my life...0 stars not 4 stars 🤢🤮”

“At top of August, this location assured Mayo was not on my sandwich. They quickly ushered me out of the Drive thru. I am VERY allergic to Mayo. On our break we moved out of the way and hurried to our next destination. I later found a ton of Mayo on my sandwich. I called to pick up a sandwich later as I had to quickly find something else to eat. Still not hungry and pressed for my next destination, they offered me a coupon. I expressed I was from out of town. They promised to send a coupon. I received the coupon bottom of August or top of September. I took coupon to my local Wendy's and they refused and was told I would have to take it to the Wendys in PA. PA said there was nothing they could do as they gave me a coupon. I asked for money back, since I couldn't get my sandwich. Wendys said they did what they were suppose to do and there was nothing left (....no obligation). My ticket actually calls for a 10 piece nugget as well because I was missing one. nugget. I am mostly concerned about the principle. Please advise.”

“Delicious! They've recently remodeled and it looks great. The food is always good. It's very pricey, though, and costs about the same as the higher end sit down restaurant down the street that has seafood, too. My only complaint is that everything is already so expensive and most meals don't come with a drink so I always bring my own with me. I do wish they would change that insanely loud noise that let's you know every time someone answers the door. You can hear it at any other business within a quarter mile radius. It's far too loud so this is a place I actively avoid when I have a migraine. But otherwise, I love it. It just has to be a special treat for me.”

“Very chill spot. The ladies at the register are super nice and sweet. And so are the people on the pizza side making this amazing food. I must say this spot has the best Wings in the area. Always crispy; amazing flavors and the price point is very reasonable. The pizza is here is great! The only small recommendation would be if the pizza crust was a bit more greasier. I love that pan/deep dish style where the crust is nice and greasy. So delicious.
Not only do I like the potato wedges called Joes but so does my pup!”

“My dad n I went on thanksgiving. The food was not n fresh n tasty. The resteraunt was extremely busy, but nothing was ever empty. The service was spot on, kept tables clean and drinks filled. Every worker n patron had smiles on their faces.”

“I don't come here very often as I no longer live in the area, but I've never had any issues with this place that were at fault of the staff here as they've always been pretty good to me. The only time I ever had an issue was one that was fixed relatively easily. They needed to change the syrup for the coke as the coke wasn't tasting right obviously as a result, and they took care of it immediately.”

“Ate here last night, had chicken tenders on special 85 cents each and the $1 homemade chips!! Deliscious!! Sauces for tenders were awesome, and chips were thick and crispy. Can’t beat it, stop by, friendly people and under new management!! You won’t be disappointed.”

“First time being at this DQ this week and it was a phenomenal experience. I ordered online since my order was very large and I went inside to grab my food and the ladies were SO NICE!! I am 38 weeks pregnant and having the worse day and filled with tears as soon as I walked in. . You know, just a very emotional day! However, the ladies were so nice to me and helped me with my order to my car and showed so much kindness to me. They really went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience but little did they know their generosity made my whole day after having such a bad day.”

“Stopped in today, with my family. I was using a knee scooter, from a recent surgery. They only had two young ladies working. I must say Haven was amazing. She seated us immediately in a great spot seeing my scooter. She was running food, seating customers, taking care of the delivery pick ups and manning the bar. She did all this while being pleasant with a smile on her face. This girl deserves 👏. My appetizer was great but the main course not so much. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short staffed. I didn't say anything because of how crazy it was. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars today.”
