We’ve come here for 20 years but this last time was awful. Almost all the food was actually inedible. The pesto was very bitter, the pink pepper sauce was horribly bland, the pasta was hard. The wedding soup was bland, cold, and strangely spicy. We waited 40 minutes for our food to come out. When we complained about the food the waitress said that the owner was here but didn’t want to talk to us and there was nothing she could do. Strange experience.

The Chicken in the Chicken Parm was Rubbery and had no flavor at all.. also neither mine nor my wife's Chicken Parmesan was breaded, but according to the menu it was supposed to be.. I might be some fat foody that looks forward to the crunchy texture and flavorful breading on my Chicken Parm.. but without that breading and 0 seasonings you're just eating a bland piece of chicken with some baked cheese on it.. the red pasta sauce wasnt good at all, I had to add salt, pepper and sugar just to make it taste mediocre enough to eat.. also the cheese they have on the table isn't Parmesan, its Romano cheese which unfortunately was also a bad choice.. who wants to sprinkle cheese that tastes like feet smell onto there food?! My advice is for the price and quality of food, just go somewhere else 🤷♂️.. honestly if you have a place you Love but you're feeling adventurous and you were wanting to try out Combine Brothers, don't.. just go to the place you know is good..

Chunky tomato sauce ordered marinara sauce ordered ziti got penne wife ordered linguine got spaghetti ! Sauce had no flavor salad just lettuce blue cheese dressing extra 3.50 ! When leaving you could see kitchen & bunch of kids talking & texing$ 15.95 +1.50 for a not so good meatball ouch

I have to share just how incredible our experience was at Combine Brothers in Hermitage, PA. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfection. We started with the 4M, and wow — it was the perfect beginning to an unforgettable meal. The Pink Diavolo and the Carbonara were truly outstanding; the flavors were so authentic that for a moment, I felt like I was right back in Italy.
But what made our visit truly exceptional was our server, Linda. She was an absolute gem — warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. Her timing was spot-on, her recommendations were amazing, and she went above and beyond to meet every need with a smile. It’s rare to find someone who brings that level of care and kindness to the table.
We will absolutely be back — and I cannot wait! Combine Brothers has earned a loyal customer, thanks to both their phenomenal food and the outstanding service from Linda.

I was super excited to try this place based of reviews and photos, but the food was just not what I was hoping for. We order muscles and two times of pasta, but would identify the food as bland (other than the mushrooms which we awesome). I was really hoping for a better meal for the price. Our server was great though, so no fault of hers.
Food and service has gone done hill. Salad dressing used to be the best. It was terrible last time different oil used ?. Food has been going down hill the last few times. Used to be a favorite spot.

Heard alot about Combine Brothers and we decided to stop at the Hermitage, PA location for a late lunch. Enjoyed the salad w/ balsamic and the bread that comes is more like a half a loaf of bread, but it was very fresh and really good! I got the garlic and olive oil fettuccine, but you better like garlic as it was loaded and the pasta was a bit on the hard side. Needed to be closer to Al dente. The eggplant parm was a huge piece that took up half the plate and the Olive pesto with bowties needed to be more of an olive pesto sauce instead of olives that were crushed up and plopped on top of the pasta. The meatballs were large, but mushy inside. Could have used a bit more breadcrumbs to give them a bit of texture. And if you like a sweeter, floral tasting sauce then you'll be good to go. They definitely give you enough pasta in one meal to actually feed two!

The Local Guide
I have to be honest, I was expecting a lot more out of Combine Brothers. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan with wedding soup. The bread and the wedding soup were fantastic, and so was the service. Drink refills when needed, great, friendly service. However, when my main course came, it was inedible. The eggplant was thick cut and chewy. It was entirely undercooked to the point where I could barely cut it. I kindly asked the waitress if it could be sent back to be cooked more and it was put in for another 5 minutes and was still completely undercooked. I am not a picky eater. However I do expect a fully cooked meal when paying such an amount for food. Sadly, Combine Brothers was a let down. I hope that they can improve and retrain their cooks on how to properly cook their meals.
