The entire seasonal decor area has NO PRICES. Never does. I refuse to buy anything without a price. Do you realize people are not buying any of this because there’s never prices.
I love this store.The people are cool,the store is clean,and the food is delicious.The fried chicken blows away KFC,and the sweets perfection donuts,cheesecake all of it.

The employee who collects the shopping carts was very rude to us. He even came to my car looking for a fight. I'm very anxious to make his name known to report it to the manager. He's rude. If you feel so bad at your job, don't do it and find another one.

3 full service lanes open. about 10 buggies in line for each. I can see multiple employees walking around, store has no intention on opening more lanes.
This store is NOT recommended for public shopping! Grimy, dusty, partially staffed front end registers, store all but demands use of their “new” totally automated, self check registers! Was in store today, light to medium shopping traffic, more front end employees standing around rather than running a cash register. Of the two women running registers, they were frustrated, flustered, and just over whelmed with the “new” hardware and software plus, they had to endure less than positive comments from customers. A corporate representative was standing around watching for problem areas, but not helping out. When asked about all the new processes, he provided that the new systems were “to help customers”. Sure didn’t see any one happy today. In fact, I heard more complaints and comments about going elsewhere to shop, i.e., Donofrio’s, Mr D’s, and Sparkle Market, where they do NOT have self check lanes. I will be included in that exodus. Incidentally, grocery, meat, produce, baked good, and related items are NOT cheaper here. Any of the local stores, will beat Giant Eagle. Keep in mind, the only people who benefit from self-check outs, are the corporate executives, not the customers or employees! Go anywhere but Giant Eagle !
I had an issue with a cake, which was my fault as I didn’t realize Chantilly icing was so delicate, but I cannot express how much I appreciate how it was handled. The manager, Michelle immediately offered to make me another, and was so accommodating and kind - as was the young lady who answered my call. It was a special cake for my daughter’s sweet 16, I am so appreciative for their astounding customer service at the Hermitage, PA location. Rest assured, they stand behind their delicious work!
The cake was so adorable and tasty! Only place I am getting cakes from now on. This was freehand! Sushi platter and loved it!
We had terrible dry tasteless sugar cookies for Easter that we threw out.Two months ago we bought a white almond flavored cake with strawberry filling and a buttercream frosting. It was moist but most of us thought the almond flavoring was too strong.The best white cake I've had was from a grocery store bakery in Cortland Ohio. It was a moist sponge-like textured sheet cake with a buttercream frosting that was lightly almond flavored. Delicious! I wish you could duplicate their cake.
Ordered this cake for a relative. Beautifully decorated and tasted so good!Reasonably priced!

I tried to order a birthday cake.
How are you supposed to order on line when it keeps taking you back to the same screen.. telling you to go to the website that you were just on.... it's very frustrating.. if I wanted the person I was ordering the cake for to know I would've just had them give me a ride to the store
Giant eagle has absolutely no good selection on meats. they're charging $23 for a pound of Delmonico steaks. the only thing they seem to worry about is if your nose is covered in your mask. so when the lady came up to me to tell me that I need to cover my nose I apologized. I said let me fix it. and I took my mask off and continue to shop. this store has went downhill quickly well I think the whole company has.
