This used to be our go to restaurant, but between it taking FOREVER to get your bill when you were done eating to the poor choices in what is on their televisions, we have after 20 years of supporting this place, decided to go elsewhere. Food is erratic too as far as quality--good one time, just okay the next. It seems like it started to go downhill after the original owner died.
Definitely my favorite place to eat around the area! I typically get the Jesus Special (along with many other people). The service can sometimes be a bit slow if they’re busy. More recently I’ve gone when it wasn’t busy with a group of friends and they ignored us for multiple moments at a time. They’ve been wonderful many times at La Isla, and I know the workers get busy so I don’t mind. Just a heads up incase you need to be in and out, definitely order online. Online...
