Definitely my favorite place to eat around the area! I typically get the Jesus Special (along with many other people). The service can sometimes be a bit slow if they’re busy. More recently I’ve gone when it wasn’t busy with a group of friends and they ignored us for multiple moments at a time. They’ve been wonderful many times at La Isla, and I know the workers get busy so I don’t mind. Just a heads up incase you need to be in and out, definitely order online. Online...
The only reason why I rated this place of floor is because of the drinks. The margaritas are pretty mediocre compared to other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to, but the food is great and they have good beer.
Be sure to use gift certificates within one year, or they may tell you it is expired. Apparently they expire even if it doesn't say so on the gift certificate.
