Called to get a price estimate for 100 cupcakes. Nothing bad happened she just said one moment, then I waited and someone hung up the phone. Tried to call back and no one answered. It just rang and rang. Needless to say I don’t need cupcakes from walmart that bad. 100 cakes must have been a very jarring question.

I usually don’t mind going to Walmart for cakes as I rarely have had issues. This time around I felt a little slighted. I called to order an Encanto cake which they didn’t have, so I decided to order a basic cake and do the rest myself. I ordered the cake, spelled my daughter’s name, she spelled it back to me. Today when the cake was picked up by my mother in law, the lady tried to quickly open and close the box. Happy my mother in law caught that they misspelled my daughters name. No big deal right? Wrong. She asked is someone could rewrite the name. The answer was no because the cake decorator left for the day and she was the only one there. Mind you, there were two others. My mother in law asked how they were going to fix it then. The girl working the counter doesn’t usually work there so I understand, but then we were still forced to buy the cake or go without. They gave a 20% discount but doesn’t fix the name. The cake it’s self is beautiful but that is not my 7 year old’s name. It looks spelled phonetically and not the spelling I provided ( Sienna). Very disappointed as there was no time to change the cake and it’s her last party with her whole family before we move across state lines.
