1. Medium was well done on my burger
2. Pork belly on my burger very chewy and many parts not chewable. Good tast though.

Went here tonight for my father’s birthday dinner. For being fairly early on a weekday and not too busy, the food took a long time to come out and my mother’s meal was wrong (there was sauce on her burger when she had asked for it to be plain). The server did fix it but her corrected food (burger) didn’t come out until we were already done eating our meals so she just got a takeout box. 1933 Restaurant & Tavern offers delicious food and friendly, professional service. Guests highlight the attentive and polite staff, including servers who are fantastic, very attentive, and go above and beyond to make dining experiences exceptional. The food is phenomenal and wonderfully prepared, with excellent food choices all delicious. Specific meals mentioned include the Cast Iron Filet with a huge loaded baked potato, the charcuterie board with Bavarian pretzel, fried buratta mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and crusty bread, fresh chips with brisket, and the ribeye Oscar with crab meat and asparagus with a béarnaise sauce. The bread was freshly baked and came with garlic confit and butter. The staff also treated guests with Hershey kisses and chocolate covered strawberries for a birthday celebration. The service is professional, polite, and efficient, with refills in a timely manner and plates cleared accordingly. Guests will definitely be back.
