We visited Hershey PA on vacation and went to the local Friendly’s since many of our local ones have closed in recent years. When we arrived we were greeted by the very friendly and very happy Talat! He explained they were currently short staffed (who isn’t right now) and that they’ll happily seat us just be aware of the longer wait times. No problem! We just went for ice cream anyways. He was so nice and stopped by our table a few times to check in as Jonell did her best to keep up with all the tables - she did just fine! The ice cream was just as good as we knew it would be and sure it took a little long but they told us it would so no complaints on our end.

My two teenage son’s and I went for Ice Cream after a day at the park and had a great experience. The staff was efficient, courteous and professional even though they were very busy. Our waitress, Jen, was extremely busy yet maintained a very happy attitude and handled the many orders efficiently and accurately-all with a smile. We will definitely return to this Friendly’s thanks to the staff and especially Jen.

Short staffed but friendly server. Manager was visible and visited all tables. Explained the rewards club. Food was fresh. Good sized portions. A seafood menu is going on right now. Had a lobster roll, looked good in the photo. Also had lobster quesadilla, shrimp wraps, buffalo seafood items and an Asian styled salad. All looked interesting.

We had a wonderful meal and the service was excellent. Her name was Donna and she really made us feel very comfortable. She was polite, gracious, respectful and made my husband this awesome strawberry milkshake which he thoroughly enjoyed. Donna is definitely a reason on why we would go back to one of our favorites restaurants. Thank you!

(May, 2021) Went for my daughter’s birthday as Friendly’s has been her eat-out choice for her whole life. The food is delicious, but the prices are higher than we think they should be. The waitress was very welcoming and efficient. They sat everyone at a good social distance from each other, seating at every-other table. You can’t pass up the opportunity for an ice cream at Friendly’s after your meal. I do recommend this Friendly’s. Just expect to be here an hour or so for your meal.

We had Jonell as our server tonight and she took care of my wife and I exceptionally well! The food was hot, fresh and well prepared. The restaurant itself was very clean. If you are in the Hershey area, consider eating at this old favorite, they are a consistent good choice.

Not being from an area that has Friendly's, we have indulged ourselves almost every day. Unfortunately, we found many of the locations to be very unfriendly. Here we felt like we were welcomed into Rachel's home. I swear the food tasted better being served by such an awesome person.

Friendlies was not friendly. After we waited 15 min. The Manager kick us out at 8:25pm. Telling us some bull that we had a leave because they closed at 9pm. AND YOU CALL THAT FRIENDLY. Yeah right last time.
