Consistent food, good energy, and reliable service. A solid Hershey staple.

I'll chalk this sub par experience up to being due to visiting on the 2nd to last day prior to final closing. The table was drafty as it was right in line with outside doors to the patio and they didn't have the fireplace going. The server was downright miserable and acted all put out when we asked for something(drink refill, no pepper on the table) and never offered my kiddo his dessert that comes with the kids meal. And what happened to the food? Used to be delicious but my burger was still mooing when I asked for close to well done and the kids mashed potatoes were cold and flavorless. And my beloved chop salad was oh so soggy. Definitely the worst experience we've ever had here. So maybe it's a good thing they are closing and we look forward to trying the new restaurant taking its place.
We arrived early for our reservation and they were packed! Although they couldn't seat us early, the front of house staff were so kind, especially the male, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. He saw an unhappy two year old and immediately brought out milk and French fries, which saved the day. He also brought extra chairs so we could be seated. Our waiter, a male whose name I also didn't catch, was equally accommodating and simply terrific. He was extremely patient dealing with three youngsters and an egg allergy. He went beyond to make it a fun experience. Food wise, the only disappointment was the chicken pot pie. It was a tiny circle of puff pastry with very little underneath it. Probably should have sent it back, but others ordered enough that I could pick from that. Ribs and burgers were excellent. After a very cold and windy day at Hershey Park, the staff at Houlihan's made us feel warm and very welcome. Hospitality at its best! Thank you!
We will miss Houlihan's very much. The food is wonderful and service is consistently good.
Great service just really bad food and drinks. Nothing tasted very good or had much flavor besides the green beans. Most disappointing $200 meal (for 2) of my life.
The food was average, nothing special. The drinks were good but took a bit to be delivered to us. All in all it was a decent visit, but since they are closing at the end of the year, it doesn't really matter anymore. :-)
Wanted to go one last time since they are closing on 12/31. The food wasn't great and it was very expensive. We shared appetizers, and the calamari wasn't cooked as usual. The flatbread wasn't hot. The only good thing we got was the Thai Chilli wings. Overall, the restaurant wasn't busy and it felt like the cooks were phoning it in since the restaurant is closing. Our server was great though. She was kind and cheerful through-out!
It was a LOT cheaper to dine here than the Hershey Hotel and Devon Seafood. With the birthday coupon, it was a downright BARGIN. Our waitress was sweet but clueless. The beer was EXCELLENT! My burger was top notch. The fish tacos - not so much. All in all we won't be going back because Houlihan's is shutting its doors 12/31/25.
Total disaster! We were sat in a far off corner hole and forgot about. After finally being noticed and offered drinks. We got our pitcher of Long Island ice tea and it tasted like watered down koolaid. 2 of the 6 of us got salads but no silverware and nobody came back for awhile so I found my own from another table. I asked the waitress after an hr when our apps would be done and she said when they are done. I also told her I needed to find silver ware and her response was they don't bring them until we have food. Um so the salads didn't count I guess. I was a waitress you smile, apologize and do what you can to make it better. Nope not her! Appetizers finally arrive and they are all wrong 3 incorrect apps. So manager come to apologize and have us chips and salsa. I told him about waitress having a bad attitude so he sent her back out with a very fake overly exaggerated apology. You know the cocky apology you'd give your parents when you really don't think you need to apologize lol Meanwhile she tops a sprite with water and over flows it. Then the food came and it was one burnt fish nugget and 2 completely differently made fish tacos. Pics of mine and my husband. One with Cole slaw one with a ton of salsa not at all made correctly and even with all the salsa it just tasted burnt. I was done at this point and won't be back.
Purchased a Ribeye 12oz Steak for $50.... It was average at best. I wouldn't travel too far to seek Houlihan's out.. Burger wasn't even close to a Five Guys treat. Nothing spectacular

We had a great dinner to celebrate our anniversary before the Bears hockey game. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
The food was ok but the service is kind slow, for such fancy restaurants, I can't believe they didn't have the basic hot tea selection , only use the only one kind Lipton tea.
The waitress was nice when she was with us but took forever to bring drinks, was warm when served and forgot things when asked. Drink items on menu were substituted w/o letting us know. Not sure if we'll be back. Probably not.
We took our two kids (1 & 3) here on a Saturday night for dinner. Great kids menu which included ice cream at the end. Service was pretty good—Not too long for the kids to sit. Would recommend.
We live Houlihans and are upset that Hershey is changing the concept to another restaurant
