Food and service were good. Took off star because of unchanging, want rye toast , 25 cents extra also service charge for using credit card. They should be more transparent about these fees. My group still enjoyed this traditional styled diner.

The internet was not available when I frequented here very often 1974-1976 while at PSU so I'll leave my review now. Fifty years later it still looks like a good place to eat. Always had good food and exceptional service. Glad to see it is still there and has not faltered.

Ohhhhhhh yeah! This excellent old school fun diner atmosphere was just what we needed during a stressful week. Came back multiple times because it was a fast favorite. You must get the pancake special whatever it is. Gotta say, one day it was butterscotch pancakes and WOW! They. Were. Awesome. Service is very personal and also amazing! Get there!!
I have been eating here for about 6 years! Always great food and service. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can't go wrong. If you ask for something and they don't have it, they will make every effort to get it to be on special if possible. Go in and see for yourself. Friendly staff. Great food. Great service!

Tried something new last Thursday. Went for breakfast. It was delicious. They even warm the syrup. The place has such a cute little vintage feel to it. Will definitely be going again. Our server was so sweet.

Ambiance was great in the original classic diner but had a slight odor. We ordered a Sideliner and creamed chipped beef over toast with homefries. Food was cooked to order. Sideliner was very good according to my husband, however, my creamed chipped beef was quite dry (the gravy part)--the potatoes were good though. Service was good and friendly. Prices were on par for the area. Parking is in the back of the building.
