Every time we come to Sullivan County. We, my girlfriend and I, make sure we have lunch, linner and/or dinner at High Knob Inn at Covered Bridge. The food is always delicious and reasonable pprice.The staff and the owners make you feel like a everyday regular customer. Just a totally relaxing place to eat and grab a drink.
We waited almost an hour and a half for two orders of wings, chicken fingers, and a burger. The wings were warm at best. There was only four other tables, one of which already eating when we ordered. None of the staff even acknowledged the wait time.
We've gone multiple times since the new owners took over to give them a chance, but each time it's been disappointing. Don't think we'll be back.
It's a great place for an afternoon get away.
