Shakes had too much whipped cream and not enough liquid, burger was way undercooked, and far too much dry rub on the chicken wings. On the bright side, the staff was very helpful and apologetic.
Tonight we had dinner at Burgatory in Pittsburgh â and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were struck by the lively and welcoming atmosphere. The industrial-chic decor, dim lighting, and upbeat music created a casual yet energetic vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable.
But the real star of the evening was the food. The burgers were phenomenal â juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. We each tried a different option from the menu, and every bite was a winner. The buns were fresh and held together nicely, and the toppings were bold and thoughtfully balanced. I personally loved the âPhat Patti,â while Sofia went for a classic beef burger with house-made bacon and a fried egg. CecĂlia customized her own burger with a veggie patty, and my wife raved about her chicken sandwich with jalapeños and chipotle aioli.
The fries were crispy, the milkshakes were indulgent, and the service was friendly and efficient. Itâs not just a meal â itâs an experience. If youâre in Pittsburgh and looking for the perfect burger night, Burgatory delivers on every level.

Worst burgers ever no flavor at all in the burger n the chips n fries were cooking in oil burnt grease. I would not recommend this place I personally won't be back

Damn shame this place charges so much for such subpar food. The burger I received was so burnt, you could taste the carbon build up from the grill on the burger. My bottom bum that touch the burger directly was also black in color from this. The onion rings I received were supposed to be crispy, as advertised, but the breading was like an undercooked pancake. My chips were also oily. Spoke to a manager and the best that was given to me was 2 free milkshake coupons for my next visit and half off my check, despite the food being edible. A disgraceful business tactic trying to make your patrons still pay for food they were not even remotely satisfied with, and the audacity to think Iâd return.

First time at this Burgatory location. Just a short 15 mins. to be seated. Waitress was good/polite and patient. However the wait time for the food to be brought out to the table was horrible. Our group included 2 hungry children. The burgers were dry and the toppings were very minimal. French fries were cold. Overall .. we did pay the bill $106.95 and tip. However we will not be returning to this Burgatory location. Sorry!!

My wife has a meat allergy. Because of this anything we order or prepare must be separate from white or red meats. We have ordered her the impossible burger previously because we both enjoy the food. Come to her surprise when I got home from our pick up order and not only did her impossible burger have bacon on it..but it was a real burger patti(I confirmed by trying it myself) not the impossible meat which was ordered. This is very concerning for us as she has an allergy as stated. We have a one year old home so instead of me going back out and spending another hour at the restaurant to order a new burger she had to eat leftovers we luckily had at the house. This is NOT acceptable..Iâm incredibly happy my wife checked her food(which she should not have to do) before eating it. I am very disappointed as if she did eat this burger there could have been a very bad reaction. Please do better MUCH better especially the management on checking your product that is being served. Because others may have had the same problem and did not speak up. That is not me. I will order from this restaurant again and hope that this is never an issue moving forward with anyoneâs order.

Wheelchair accessibility: They don't have buttons to open the 2 sets of doors to get inside, nor to get into the bathroom. Their otherwise levelled allow mobility in a wheelchair through the building.
