My husband and I went there about a month ago he ordered the swordfish and it was AWESOME! I ordered the crab legs and not only were they HUGE (and totally worth the money) but they filled me up we ordered the crème brûlée and it was delicious. The food was fantastic the service was great and the atmosphere was pretty nice could use an update but would recommend this place to any seafood lover!
The food was very good. Our waitress was Kaelie, and she was great!! We had 2 small children, and all the staff were very nice to them.
Went to Mitchell’s tonight and really enjoyed the musician Nick Barilla. WhAt a real treat for Valentine’s dinner. He really set the mood. His voice made our night. We definitely would like to go back and see him again. The food was good too 5 stars ⭐️
Pleasantly surprised that Mitchells has turned around. The last couple visits were definitely substandard. This visit was excellent. Lobster tails, Chilean sea bass, lobster macaroni and cheese and of course, shark fin pie. All were excellent. Service by Paul was excellent. Highly recommendable!
Went w/a friend to "catch up" after the holidays. The food was cooked perfectly & the drinks perfect. Our server knew the menu well & helped us navigate the menu since we don't frequent the restaurant. My friend got red snapper, which he's bumbed they're taking it off the menu. My cod, crab cake & shrimp skewers didn't taste fishy/rubbery. They really need to put their hush puppies on as an appetizer by themselves, they're the bomb! Salads & dessert were great too. Can't beat the good, service & atmosphere here. If I was rich I'd go more often but great for special occasions, to impress dates, business mtgs, etc.
I took my fiance here for her birthday dinner. There was live music (Friday night,) which was a really pleasant surprise! The food was amazing and half the price of Monterey Bay.
Service was super. Food was excellent. We had a booth for 4 of us & we didn't feel crowded. Atmosphere was calm, lighting was soft. It was quite eventhough they were half full.
It was my first time to visit this restaurant, with a party of four, and I will not be returning. Dinner was my treat and I felt badly that this is where I brought my guests, as they also did not enjoy their meals. The lobster bisque was terrible and I only at 1/3 of my bowl and could not finish it. The lobster bisque tasted mainly of creamy wine, it had no lobster flavor at all. One of my guests also ordered the bisque and thought it was terrible. I and another guest ordered the crab and shrimp stuffed cod. This also was terrible. The cod was chewy and the stuffing was a gooey breadcrumb, that did not even taste like seafood. I could not even eat the stuffing to the cod. The side of potatoes tasted good, unfortunately that was the only thing I enjoyed of the meal. Waitstaff service was friendly but we had to wait twice over 20 minutes for drink refills. We were never asked how our food tasted by our waiter, so here I will post it.
The hostess, Hannah, was friendly. Our waitress, however, was not as personable or attentive. The food was hot and tasty. I used the restroom, and to.my surprise, there was a mess on the floor outside of the ladies' room. Inside, the stalls were not stocked with t.p. The evening boasted a amateurish cover singer. In all, I am sorry to say the experience was not worth the cost involved.
Our server, Paul, was helpful and personable. the fodd was very good and were amply portioned.

Great food at a reasonable point. great atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff. it's not an Applebees or Red Robin kind of corporate dump If you normally eat at these places this may not be a place you appreciate. stopped in for a late lunch after a day out with my wife. Very happy. Great dinning experience.
Great food! Great service!
I was craving for some lobster mac and cheese so decided to check out this place. Also, got their jumbo crab cake. The lobster mac and cheese was good but not great, it had penne noodles instead of elbow mac noodles and it wasn't creamy or cheesier enough for me. The crab cake was good, I prefer mines to be a little more firmer. Loved their roasted corn and the tabasco mash remoulade that came with it. For the money, don't think I will be back. Little pricey for me and I just got the appetizer and side dish.
I tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I love the awesome ambience and delicious dishes and drinks. Keep up the good work.
Good seafood are hard to come by in Pittsburgh. We ordered the fisherman's platter and enjoyed it very much. You can taste how fresh the cod, shrimp and scallops were. Highly recommended!
