This place has gone downhill. We ordered take out and it wasnt good. First, we showed up after the alloted wait time and still had to wait an additional 15 minutes for staff to package our order, when there was barely a soul in there. Second, when we got home, the spinach artichoke dip was cold. Every other time we've ordered it, it's been hot... and the veggies that came with it (pictured) did not look great. Then my boyfriend found this days of the week sticker (pictured) IN his sandwich. Lastly, I understand there's supply issues, but don't advertise waffle fries if you don't have them. Will likely not be back.
Great beer. Good service. Only giving 3 stars because I got big leaves of fresh parsley on my margarita pizza instead of basil. ?. I'd suggest getting the burger ? everyone liked it.
This food and service was absolutely horrible! I wouldn’t serve this food to anyone. We had reservations at 5 30 pm party of 10. We didn’t get our waters till 6 pm. The food came out randomly starting at 6 30. The final dish was served to a patiently waiting child around 7 30. If you could see these wings. They were black when I opened them with a fork. Steak looked microwaved. They didn’t have the calamari. The chicken fingers looked like someone dumped the fryer crumbs on the plate. We sent 2 dinners back. I asked to see a manager and she was absolutely no help. She actually the 2 nd time we requested her got an attitude and walked away. Finally the new general manager came over and she was really nice and helpful. She has her hands full at this location. Who ever is cooking needs more training. I will never return here. The kids pizza had 1 string of cheese on it. Looked like hospital food. I had a great experience couple years ago the food was delicious. Before the pandemic even years before that. The waitress never returned. We had no napkins. Her response was I have a party of 20. Well how is that our problem. If you can’t handle the party then don’t take the reservation! Worst experience.
We chose Rock Bottom at the Waterfront for a Saturday afternoon early dinner day out. We had a burger and fried chicken sandwich. Delicious and hot. Wasn’t too busy so we had time to talk to the bar manager Terra. We enjoyed their house brewed beers and a few Bloody Mary’s. We asked a waiter Jacob to put the Pirates game on for us. We will definitely be back for food and drinks soon and to see our friend Terra at this awesome location brewery.
Salmon was over cooked, rice was dry and unappealing. Barely any flavor. Service however was excellent, just wish the food matched.
Pretty spacious venue catering to both the brewery and casual dinning experiences simultaneously. Kudos.I had the Texas fire ribeye at a Perfect medium just as I like it. My partner enjoyed the grilled salmon. We’ll be back!
I honestly dont know where to start it was mine and my fiancés first time ever here. I reserved a table for feb. 18th for a beautiful dinner out and it was a disaster. We waited 2 hrs to get any food at all and when we did get it, it was cold, the bun on the burger was rock hard, the bacon was just as hard, my pasta wasn't cooked evenly, and my mixed drinks were watered down. My fiancés drinks turned out to be good as well as the starters but most definitely wasnt worth the price nor the wait. On top of everything the service was horrible not only was waiting for 2 hrs for our food but everyone around us that was seated after us got their food before us. The manager was willing to compensate for the wait and everything but at that point we just wanted to leave. I hope everyone has a better experience than we did.
My boyfriend and I came here for a few drinks before hitting the theatre. It is our first time here and right from the start the service isn’t great at all. We came right to the bar, the hostess said she would follow us with menus and started walking behind us and then disappeared. The bartender (blonde lady) did greet us within the minute and provided a beer menu and food/cocktail menu. She removed all the cherry stems on the bar but didn’t even clean it.When ordering my cocktail, she was very short and not helpful. I customized it and was semi satisfied, although she didn’t ask if I enjoyed it.She never came back to check on us, we called her to order another round and she just sets them down and walks away. For being first time customers here, we were not impressed with the service. There was zero conversation, it just did not feel welcoming. We have zero interest on ever returning. The reviews definitely hold up with this place.I’m ALSO positive the owner will reply to this review as they do with the majority of all the other reviews with a copy and paste response.. super professional!
Sadly the food was not what it used to be. The coleslaw was so bad I had to spit it out and my son's mac n cheese was dried out, crunchy and not what I'd refer to as mac n cheese. Service was a bit slow. We asked for another order of chips for our dip trio and by the time they came the queso was hardened. My soup came out with no spoon, which took quite some time as well. I left the restaurant with most of the dinner left on my plate and a queezy stomach. Definitely disappointed with the cost for food we couldn't even eat and service that was sadly worse than the food.
Got seated at 12:50 PM and the hostess was accommodating. Subsequently our waiter took our order for a Ceasars Salad to share and wings and calamari appetizers. I got one of their draft beers. 20 minutes later I got my beer. 20 minutes after that our server returned to tell us they were out of calamari. A whole 40 minutes had passed by this point. We were stunned, no food for 40 minutes and now we were told one of our items was not available. We ordered the nachos with brisket add-on. Our server brought the wings that had been sitting out for +40 minutes and they were cold and dry. We immediately told the server that these would need to be replaced, which he did. Next came the Ceasars Salad which had also sat out the entire time. The salad just wasn't good. Soon after that the nachos arrived. They had the melted cheese and a few gobs of salsa thrown on. The brisket was a $10 adder and I could only find some small pieces on the nachos. As we finished and asked for the check it was now 2:30 PM. No apologies from the server. My $6.50 draft beer was good - The only redeeming point of the lunch. Our Bill came to over $70 for the 3 items, which was crazy expensive for the quality of the food. Go for the beer and forget the food and service.

Decent food. Could have came out hotter; the cheese on the $18 nachos wasn't even melted. It was sitting for a bit before we got it.They are under staffed which means very slow service. Took over 10 minutes to get two sodas. Waited an hour to get our appetizer and then our regular food came less then 5 minutes later. Not happy with this experience and don't recommend at all.
Nice location with a good family atmosphere. Good food and good beer. Be sure to try the Black and Gold, a very on par Black and Tan beer. If in the Homestead area, this is a good place to consider.
everything was good until i found there was a gum in the bottom of my mashed potatoes. I was wondering why there was a minty taste in it and found out it was a piece of gum. Felt really sick in my stomach and had a bad experience.
If you’re NOT hungry when you get to Rock Bottom, this is the place for you. Unfortunately for my wife and myself we were hungry. An hour wait for a chicken sandwich and a dinner salad. Lots of empty tables around us when we arrived. We then proceeded to watch people who arrived after us (with a different waitress) get their food before us. Our waitress blamed the delay on “a large party” that we never saw that backed up the kitchen. Funny, it didn’t force these other patrons from getting served before us. There will be an empty table when you arrive because we’ll never be back.
The food was okay but not worth the price. My brisket sandwich was pretty dry. The waitress was nice and the service was fine. The restrooms were shockingly in terrible shape for the place not being busy. The floor by the urinals was as wet and sticky as the floor at a movie theater. There was trash everywhere, too. Again, this was surprising because the restaurant was almost empty.
