WORST service I have seen at a restaurant.We were sitting for half an hour and NO one came by. We finally had to get hold of a waitress that was serving other tables nearby. She checked and said they didn't know who our waiter was or if there was even one assigned:( She served us but we had to remind her multiple times about what we needed since she kept forgetting as it wasn't her table. Food was decent but not worth coming back due to the service. Not that they would care based on what I've seen from other reviews !!

Interesting place. Family friendly. Seafood was delicious and you get ALOT for the price you pay. It was very well seasoned and just delicious. That being said, the atmosphere was a little to be desired for me. Kids were literally running around climbing and playing on props that were throughout the restaurant, but hey,maybe that's what they are there for! You can sign your name and write on almost anything in the restaurant, including the walls, banisters, ect. Our waitress wasn't rude but not friendly either and she spoke very fast so we kept asking her to repeat herself. She disappeared after food was served and we couldn't find her to request a water. There was also some cleanliness lacking, as there was food stuck onto the napkin holder that is also the drink menu. Speaking of drinks, the gummy bear cocktail was tasty but very small, weak, and not worth 10 bucks so I'd have your cocktails somewhere else after stuffing yourself with seafood.

As we did last year we came for my wife's birthday. Last year we had twelve people and spent close to $900. My wife said she would like to come back to Stormin Crab again this year. When it became time to order we asked to pay with three separate checks as we did the year before. We were informed that we were not allowed to do so and that we could not even sit at a different table or sit at the bar. The employees expect a large tip but can't even write one separate check. Again we spent close to $900 last year and tipped well. No management on duty and the staff was incapable of dealing with the situation. You can say good bye to at least 12 customers! Question? Is it a health violation to put your thumb over the spout of a bottle and then shake the bottle...and then pour the contents of that bottle directly in to the glass. Just asking. In closing and to be clear... I asked to have a separate check I was told I was not allowed to... I then suggested that I would move to a separate table again I was told I was not allowed to... I then moved to the bar and was asking to order my food separately at the bar... again I was told no. This event totally ruined my wife's birthday dinner with the family.
The philosophy of the customer is always right appears to elude the management and staff of the restaurant Storming Crab? More like (Storming Nazis)! We were basically told to sit down do what we say and shut up... unacceptable.
They should also look at the surveillance camera and observe the bartender's serving practices. I would like to have that addressed also or at least inform the health department.
The whole situation could have been handled so easy by the staff.

If this were closer, we’d definitely go more often. It reminded me of a Joe’s Crab Shack with a okay area did kids.
The place was covered in graffiti. So much that u wonder if some of it is fake. Seems unrealistic for the writing to be everywhere. In spite of that, the restaurant has a good vibe and a huge waiting room, so I’m sure they’re popular.
The service wasn’t very good even tho they weren’t busy.
The seafood bread was delicious. I could eat just that. They were out of the gum o & etouffee, so we went with fried scallops (we’d never had scallops fried) & Cajun fried rice, silver we’d never had that either. Sadly, there is nothing Cajun about their Cajun fried rice. In fact, it was very bland fried rice. It tasted like lean cuisine. Very disappointing. When we mentioned that the rice had Jo Cajun seasoning and asked for more, the waitress explained that there’s nothing Cajun about the fried rice. It’s only called that since they’re a Cajun restaurant. So disappointed by the false advertising. We knew we were in a Cajun restaurant & would face never ordered regular fried rice. 😢😢😢
The fried clams were okay. Wouldn’t get them again. I think if there were seasoning in the breading or they were served with a good garlic aioli they’d have been good. Just weird with cocktail sauce.
Looking forward to going back when we have bigger appetites since a lot of the food looked delicious and the seafood bread is amazing.

I was in the mood for calamari paid 12.90 and got about 9 calamari. Spoke to the manager who explained because ownership felt no one was purchasing they lessen the amount. Don't go here and waste money!!!!

The Hostess was horrible, food wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Lied to by mgt for my first time experience not ever going back. Went for my grandson 5th bday highly disappointed. If you live in Pittsburgh don't go to the one at the Waterfront in homestead please don't patronize it. We spent close to $700.00 just plain awful.

Bro I oreder king crab legs, shrimp with scallops. Another order with dungeness crab legs, shrimp whatever you know. Bill was over $200 I don't mind paying that but they gave me 2 crab legs for the king crab. Your telling me these 2 legs are 1lb.... come on man and person I talked to said I have to check my order when I take it. Didn't think I would have to check to make sure you did your job. Lesson learned ill just go else where for my seafood

The food is really good and the staff is ok too..the atmosphere however kids 12-15 years old come inside and watch you eat angry, there is a poor black family and occasionally a poor Spanish family that stalks people shopping and eating angry at customers in the waterfront..a few times the mom and daughter walk in sit next to you and complain that they are hungry to you they need security guards for sure
Waited an hour for my food to be given away to doordash, had to wait another 40 to begin eating. Check was wrong at end, didn't even have my drinks compensated. They didn't even compensate my diet coke for waiting 2 hours. The table next to us never got one of their orders. When asked if the waitress forgot she admitted "yes" could have been acting facetious but based on how our table went, most likely not.

Went for lunch ready to spend $100+. Waited to be seated for 5 minutes until I decided to sit myself, and was promptly moved. Waited another 13 minutes for someone to come over. We were given two pieces of cheese bread and told "we'll be with you shortly", and we weren't even asked about drinks. We sat looking around at the 4 other tables sitting with no one eating for about 20 more minutes. Everyone but us had drinks, NO ONE was eating yet. There was just a man pacing on his cell phone staring at everyone the whole time near the kitchen/bar which I imagine was a manager who was too good to dictate his employees or assist. We left, and we won't be back. Food was OK at best the time I went before, but the prices now were much higher.

I just checked my transactions on my card and was charged more than I signed for on the bill. I paid tip in cash which My waitress Amber did not deserve . Her attitude was terrible & I reported that to manager, so I’m thinking this was done on purpose by the waitress. Very shady! I will definitely be disputing this with my bank. If you chose to go, pay in cash. I would not trust them with your card

Been to the Homestead one multiple times, like the food a lot. But today was different, used the same debit card every time this time I get told I can’t use it cause my wife’s name is on the card and not mine. Would love to know why this is a thing
