Still an amazing place to celebrate with great food
Recommended dishes: Hibachi Triple Combo, Filet Hibachi
Don’t go if you don’t wanna be ripped off. We were a party of 2 and got charged 20% tip. When we asked the manager about it, in broken English he said, I sorry, I sorry, but didn’t offer to fix it. Their policy is parties over 3 get gratuity added, we were 2. We will never return.

Don’t go here. Waitress added an extra 20% gratuity to the check for two and when asked went absolutely INSANE. Harassing me. Yelling at me. Acting absolutely crazy, because she was caught.
Told me to ho pay for my meal upfront because she wasn’t going to do it. Yelling in the restaurant that I was a cheap ass. (Because she tried to charge us for gratuity unknown to us) Followed us upfront screaming at us. She wouldn’t go away.
We still paid for our meal, tipped the chef. She kept calling me names walking through the restaurant ext… then said she was going to fight me…. Classy joint. Not worth the time and money for that psycho act. So sad I took the time to come here. Don’t go here. Owner just told her to stop yelling at us. Lol

Food:good. Service:good. Cooks: talented and friendly. Price:little higher then I'm used to but it is a steak right? The only thing that I'd suggest or recommend would be better communication & possibly some more attention to cleanliness. My Togo order I was bringing home was over looked and took WAY TOO LONG to get and the floors are very sticky... you kinda get a feel like the place could use a good scrubbing and wipe down... other then that, would I go back? Yes. Yes I would, (zootopia line lol.)

DO NOT ORDER HERE. To preface this I never write reviews but I had to after this experience. We ordered take out and it was expected to be done in 15-20 minutes. We arrived 20 minutes later and waited at the bar for the food. The communication was terrible. It took over 30 minutes to receive the food. It was busy and I understand that mistakes happen but the way they handled it was terrible. This wouldn’t have warranted a review if the food was good but sadly we were disappointed. The egg in the fried rice was burnt black and tasted like straight pepper, the yum yum sauce was just Dijon mustard, and the vegetables were all sad zucchini chunks. Not to mention the shrimp were overcooked and obviously from frozen. Do not waste your time or money here. For $25-$40 per person this is unacceptable.

We were seated at 7:45 on a Monday night. I guess I shouldn't necessarily expect first string workers, but it felt like our staff had other places to be.
Service was slow, I had to ask for a soda refill before being offered one, soups/salads took a while to show up, the hibachi show was severely truncated (no onion volcano, beating heartbeat rice, or any of the usual tricks, just one trick-- a big flame up that felt like it claimed everyone's eyebrows).
By the time entrees were served, it was starting to get late. The check arrived when most of us were only halfway through our entrees. We tried to wait and finish our meal, but the waitress repeatedly came and asked for the check so we could be shown out.
My partner ordered the $17 teriyaki salmon but was served the $28 twin salmon entree and I'd ordered the ny strip with a menu price of $18 and it apparently rung up as $28. When we asked the waitress about it she brushed it off and said it was all the same.
We went to Koi the following night and ate much better food for the same price. At Koi, we actually inadvertently sat about 15 minutes past closing and never once felt pressured by the staff to leave.
I even reached out via email to the restaurant about our experience but never heard back before deciding to leave a review

Chicken and shrimp was very rubbery almost like it had been reheated multiple times and the sauces tasted weird. The salad was the only redeeming thing.

I was in a group of 4 people at a regular table for dinner. The waiter was below average basically not returning to our table and felt rushed. When receiving the bill the restaurant add 22% tip to the bill … why?? That is not the restaurants decision and our waiter was not worth it. I’m sure he worked at pace that he didn’t care because his bosses added 22% towards his pay. We’ve talked to the owners in the past and loved this place but probably won’t return because of this over tipping for poor quality of service.

Buckle up people this is a long one.
Firstly I’d like to say that the food is amazing and the people who are employed there are wonderful people, kind, respectful, funny, caring, understanding and just down right amazing people to be around. The food is amazing as always because the chefs are dedicated to their work and never give anything less than maximum effort. Now you would think they are getting treated, paid, respected, and even praised by their boss behind the scenes right? I mean what is a restaurant without its staff? Sadly they aren’t getting treated right at all. For YEARS their boss has been taking their hard earned money. The boss forces on the bill of over three people to have an automatic gratuity to their bill. Then takes 50% of that tip for himself. If the tip HE FORCES isn’t there (even if the customer said they aren’t paying it) he makes the server pay it out of their own pocket. Now you’ve been put on the spot about this before haven’t you? Yes I’ve shifted this whole review to come directly at you simply because the only reviews you seem to be worried about our the ones who expose you for your horrible ways of treating the very same people who make your restaurant what it is. You’ve been told about this before and you stopped it for a while then you secretly started it up again thinking your loyal customers wouldn’t notice. Greed is the fall of all business and if you haven’t noticed your isn’t all that far, less and less people come because they see the way you treat your employees and have the audacity to get ignorant with your own customers when they refuse to let you take the poor employees HARD EARNED tip. These people not only keep your business alive but they also make you money, it’s not hard to be a good person and give them what they deserve.
