Yokoso Japanese Steak House

Our cook was absolutely wonderful but the server? No. He started off great and personable. However, when he added auto gratuity into our check.. that was where it went downhill. There were two of us. There were two other people across from us. He got rude with them for crossing out a tip when they realize he already put his tip into the bill. He said “I have to tip out on this.” Rudely. Well, you will tip out on what you already added. The whole table was going to tip him more than he put on. He basically ripped our receipts out of our hands and walked away. I don’t think auto gratuity on parties of two should be a thing, especially without telling the customer. How many people does he slyly get to double tip? That’s absolutely WRONG.

My complaint is the added gratuity. Was having an enjoyable evening until I received my bill. I had already cash tipped the cook $15 and the waitress $15 and they still added a $20 gratuity to my bill.

I ordered the sashimi and it looked off ..I didn't finish it because it just didn't seem right. This was on Saturday night, it's Monday and I'm still sick. My sisters had the hibachi and are okay but seriously, stay away from the sushi.

Ive never been to a more mid tier hibachi place in my life. The server was great and so was the hibachi chef. But holy crap, the food was nasty. The yum yum sauce was sour and the oil was separating from the sauce, which ive personally never seen happen to a yum yum sauce before. The rice was squishy and tasted just.. cant describe it other than funky. Steak was good, vegetables had a strong pepper flavor. And we got a surprise 18$ gratuity that we didnt notice on the menu/wasn't told to us by the server. Overall, just a super okay restaurant. Won't be coming back. Watami is better.

Robert was the best chef I have ever had in my life and best cook, I am from Miami, I have been to every high end hibachi place that exists.

Yokoso is always fantastic. We've been taking my niece there (at her request) for her birthday since she was 5. On Monday we celebrated her 23rd.

Service was terrible, waitress filled our cups one time and that was it…i was very angry after i was charged my bill and saw a day later that they took it upon themselves and charged me $10.00 additional for the tip and the manager says it was probably accidental, how can this be accidental!? i called them and they gave me the tip refund and that was it after practically robbing me. WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS!

An Entertaining and Delicious Experience!

This is easily one of my favorite places to go for a meal. The service is always good, and the chefs are incredibly entertaining, putting on a great show as they cook right in front of you.

I'm always super excited to go here because I know I'm getting fresh, delicious food served with a smile. There's nothing like watching your meal being prepared right in front of you—it makes the entire experience so much better. I highly recommend it for a fun and fantastic night out!

Manager is horrible and the staff is horrible, the place was unsanitary and the food was spoiled!!! Greatly disappointed. Don't come here at all

Only rated this place a 3 because their sushi is delicious! Hibachi was extremely expensive to be so bland and horrible!
Atmosphere was lovely and clean. The workers who greeted me were super unfriendly. The women behind the bar were incredible, though, and she was very helpful. I would only ever return for sushi! There's always a first time for everything, though.
