The food was good, the se5vice was fast, and peofessional and they were easuly able to accomodate our very large party.

I only regret I wasn't hungry enough to try more of the food.

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. Could not even make it home before we had to pull over to throw up. Did not even get out of honesdale before our stomachs started turning. The food was freezing and very few selection of anything.

Update 2 stars down from 4

Food has consistently gotten lower quality since 2022. Today Friday at 11am, opening time, there was only 2/3 of the buffet out, and the rice was cold. How?

The men’s bathroom water has been out of order for months, I thought last time it was a new issue.. maybe not.. The ceiling above the buffet now has drywall tape falling off, the chandelier lights flicker, the colored strip is all but dead and the radio stopped working. Time for some maintenance.

On top of that it’s $1 more now than I remember.. $16 for an adult lunch. More if you want soda…

The sushi was good, always has been.

I go here weekly, everything is OK. I've never had any issues from the food, and getting a hot tea is always nice.

Having a lunch date with my daughter and she got to pick where we were going and every time she picks here! It never disappoints! Always fresh and delicious and everyone there is super friendly and nice! We definitely will be back!

Came on a Saturday right after the snow. It wasn't busy. Food was nice and fresh. A good hidden gem! The spare ribs were great. Ribs weren't skimpy either. Plenty of meat.

I am actually baffled, I don't know how this place is open. This food was so awful, I actually spit it out and almost got sick on the table. I wouldn't let my child even eat it. I wouldn't serve this food to a dog. Not only was the meat chewy, and somewhat...crunchy inside. The flavor resembled the taste of an old shoe. NEVER again.

Popped in on a whim while in the area. Very friendly staff. Smiles all around. Until i had to speak to someone about the quality of the food. ALL the meats were VERY overcooked. Like chewing leather. An adult was unable to consume the food as it was the most awefule things ive ever tasted. The cups stunk of mildew. I ended up arguing with someone until they just let me pay for the drinks. Will never return. I honestly cant understand how the people of honesdale has allowed this place to remain in business.

A couple of first timers here. First walked in, the staff was friendly and polite. Smiles all around. Drinks were good. We showed up towards the end of the night. We didn't feel rushed at all. They would kindly ask us if they could take our plates when they were cleared of food or ask if we wanted refills. I see nothing wrong with the signs that say don't waste food. I think that's something everyone should follow. Overall, our experience was great. Total for 2 people for dinner was about 30 dollars, which wasn't bad. We had our fill. Thank you for having us.

Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other posts. For 3 of us it was almost 60$. The drinks tasted like Honesdale water, the server is definitely quick to take your plate. I was hoping the food would have improved. It was better than other visits but not worth almost 20$ a person. Some items being served were on chipped plates, not little chips either that you can overlook. Utensils with food stuck to them and dried on. It just didn't look appealing. Change things out. Keep it fresh looking. Do not use chipped plates. ?‍♀️ I guess that getting the bill while we were still eating was a hint we did not need dessert. I do try to give places another chance but I think we are just going to move along.

I thought that during the summertime that the food would be better than during the year, but when you result to eating fruit because the rest of the food was terribly inedible that ridiculous. The honey chicken was overcooked and as tough as golf balls. The soup was cold. The pork on a stick tasted like shoe leather. The only edible hot food was the chicken and broccoli, but it paled in comparison to other places. We tried to complain about the food, but were handed our check shortly there after. Poor service, poorer food. Even the grapes had parts of the stem remaining and seeded on an overpriced buffet. Thank God for watermelon.

Following my review, I addressed my concerns and I was told that she'd check the food and she did not. She gave me $5 off my bill for the experience. We definitely wasted more food than we ate. They hate this, but haven't changed their food quality for our past 3 visits. I never complain, but simply wanted to help them. I also mentioned that because the first buffet wasn't working that they shouldn't use it. Cold food sitting out will make someone sick. I was told thanks for my concerns and they were getting it fixed, however being validated without being heard is no way to do business. The soup was ice cold. It was noon and should still be hot from at least being reheated. The first buffet had cold fish, cold soup, cold dim sum, cold BBQ pork, etc. They are going to kill someone.

Simply put, stay away from somewhere that doesn't practice safety first.

I had poop veins in my shrimp. (AKA, not cleaned or deveined) When I mentioned it, and showed them, they just said ‘it is our culture not to do it’ and snatched away the dish before I could get a pic. So poop shrimp is ok? Maybe in China, but if they are doing business in AMERICA, it is OUR CULTURE that doesn’t like poop in shrimp. Two different employees seemed baffled and kept resorting to the same lady saying ‘it is our culture’. Never again. If you want to do business in America, you cater to us. If you want to only do your own culture, then feel free to return to China or a like city like Chinatown. If that is what they do. But every cooking show across the globe I have EVER watched (which includes a LOT), NO ONE on any continent has ever said uncleaned/undeveined shrimp is ok to eat as is.
