Beautiful experience great coffee and a beautiful view
Stopped at this place for a cup of coffee today 7/3 @ 4:54 with my wife and 2 friends. Was turned away by cashier because they close at 5pm and she would get in trouble if she rings anything up after 5pm. But she wouldn’t get in trouble for chatting with her friend who was ordering coffee for 5 minutes that she was attending to.Horrible!!!!!
Great vibe. Friendly, cheerful staff. Had the Chocolate twist. Yummy!
Very beautiful inside and outside! The coffee is great so I bought some espresso to use when I fly back home!!!
Love the coffee a little expensive but worth it. Love that the cold brew comes with coffee ice cubes GENIUS!! Wish the cold brew cups were bigger!
Just stopped in for a cold coffee, it's delicious! I'll be back. Great atmosphere and beautiful waterfall out back.
I absolutely love Black and brass. Today I tried the Honey Bee latte.....wow!!! This place never disappoints!!! The best coffee ☕️!!!!
Coffee is excellent and I love their specialty lattes. Hoping they get GF treats again…
This review pertains to the new, Lake Ariel location (which is not yet listed). First, I just want to say I REALLY want this new shop to succeed. However, Lake Ariel, though close to Honesdale, is a 180 from the Honesdale clientele. My friend and I tried out the new shop, and we feel it needs a few main things in order to be successful in Lake Ariel: 1. It needs seating! Currently, it only has enough seating for about 6-8 people. 2. It needs a bigger pastry/bakery case. 3. It needs to appeal to a younger crowd and become a "hangout" spot. Lori's Corner Kitchen already has the senior crowd that likes to meet up early for breakfast and socialize, so those people aren't going to come. The working folks/commuters already go to Dunkin, and they're not going to switch simply on the principles of "better coffee" in this economy, where gas is pushing $5/gallon. Unless this place can do something to get the niche market and get the younger crowd in by offering a higgy place with plenty of seating where you can chill, get good coffee, and nosh on goodies from an on-point bakery case, this place won't last 6 months.
I love this place. I enjoy different selections and my favorite spot by the waterfall. Who needs Starbucks, B&B has great atmosphere and coffee..

I had a perfect cup of coffee with a side of chocolate rugula. Very good ?
Aesthetic is on point, but the tea latte was just tea bags and milk and foam. Milk was left out on the counter the entire time we were there. Had an upset stomach afterwards.
We love Black and Brass! The MOST beautiful scenic coffee spot we’ve ever been to on the east coast!! This is our 3rd time coming here and the views never seem to retire or get old. The coffee taste itself could be better but it’s good and the atmosphere is its steal. They also decorate amazing for the holidays and the indoor seating is super cozy as well as the GORGEOUS natural waterfall right outside!! We love you Black and Brass :)! Great place. I like the Sugar-free vanilla latte
This monopolized coffee shop for this area is inconsistent and overpriced. If another coffee shop would compete with this place it would blow it out of the water.Negatives:-Inconsistent coffee that is average-The iced coffee has one size only-the desserts are outsourced which is fine but the consistency of freshness varies greatly.
