Black and Brass Coffee Roasting Company

I was excited to try a local roaster, as it’s usually the best way to get truly fresh coffee. But I was immediately disappointed when I noticed they don’t list the roast date on the packaging — arguably the most crucial detail for any coffee lover. Still, I decided to give them a chance and bought a bag anyway. Big mistake.

When I got home, I discovered that the roast date was there — hidden in barely visible black ink on a black bag. And the worst part? It was from last year! Absolutely unacceptable. I won’t be making this mistake again.

I am not normally a coffee drinker but the coffee from black and brass is amazing. Plus when you go in the shop itself is so cute and has a great view behind it.

I love the coffee but I don't like to see your poliyacal stance plastered all over the front of your store it makes feel like do not want my business if I am not of your political affiliation. So Travis you lost 4 customers

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. I had a double expresso and bought a bag of full bean coffee definitely recommend this place. The mini waterfall behind the store is breathtaking ❤️

I enjoyed a fresh medium roast coffee. Lady at the counter was really friendly and helpful. The wonderful waterfall view outside is really caml and relaxing. as well as the interior rustic vibe.

Stopped in here while I was in town. It has a nice atmosphere, feels semi industrial for the style. Got a Butter Pecan Iced Latte, it was good overall. They only have one size for their iced drinks and they do have a $5 minimum for credit cards. Not that it is a bad thing, the iced latte with a flavor shot is above that so I didn’t have an issue.

The only negative thing I can say is when I walked in it felt like they were short staffed. There was only 1 guy working there and a line was forming, but everyone seemed understanding. I’m guessing it was just a mini mid-day rush
