Hotel Wayne Reviews
Very rustic! Great staff that were very friendly and helpful! Great little coffee shop with wine and spirits. For the price well worth it.
We just stayed there in what they call a 2 bedroom suite. I have to say it was horrible!!! First not handicap accessible. No elevator to get to the second floor. We get to our suite and if that is what you call a suite, they need to be ashamed of themselves. Almost all the outlets have black electrical tape over them. Turned the thermostat on and radiators didn't work. In the living room was an electric baseboard heat we had to turn it on. There was another one in the one bedroom....read full review

Hotel Wayne, located in Honesdale, is a historic building with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are dated but functional, with locked doors for safety. The restaurant offers great food and drinks, with excellent service from servers like Kenzi. Guests can enjoy wine tasting and explore the nearby downtown area with shops and eateries. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, and the walkability allows visitors to find plenty of food and activity within a few minutes walk. The food and drinks are excellent, with dishes like brisket and burgers receiving high praise. Although the decor could benefit from an update, the friendly staff and convenient location make Hotel Wayne a welcoming spot for a meal or a stay. Recent visitors appreciated the cleanliness and enjoyed the flavorful food, especially the butternut squash soup. However, some feedback mentioned that during busy times, service issues and portion sizes could be a concern, and holiday dinners might not meet expectations. Overall, Hotel Wayne remains a charming place with a friendly atmosphere and good dining options.
