My order was wrong and I needed more time to order as they changed the app and I was asked to pull around appeasing the honking lady behind me. This further encouraged the behavior. Rudeness should not happen.

One of the best McDonalds I have ever been to! Super friendly staff and my food is never wrong when I visit! The prices aren’t too shabby either, I know we all hope for lower prices everywhere but hey, for inflation it really is very reasonable! When I choose to dine in the restaurant is always clean too!

I paid extra for modifications to my food and did not get them. Also put cream in my coffee when I asked for none. I have an intense allergy to dairy products, and for this to be ignored is not acceptable. The woman with faded green hair was rude and loudly declaring her lack of interest in performing the basic functions of her job. The decor was cute.

Compared to other McD’s and compared to the last building before the rebuild it is a better option. Food is good, atmosphere is ok, not a fan of the new style, not very child friendly, wishing that they had the play center still, the traffic direction is terrible where it is in the parking lot. They could have utilized the one whole side of the parking lot towards Dunkin instead of making it a congested area, especially during rush hours. Always check your order if you do take out. I have had many errors. The employees are very friendly for the most part, they make it enjoyable to want to come back again for more service.

Overall it's pretty decent as far as McDonald's restaurants go and most of the staff are friendly and helpful enough. What I have a problem with is why ask me at the drive through what sauce I want with my nuggets just to not give me the sauce at all? This has happened numerous times.

Horrible customer service, we called to ask about one of the menu items. All they said is “okay thats lovely but we’re very busy right now” and just hung up. We had to call twice they hung up on us the first time as soon as we started speaking and hung up on us the second time when we asked about one of the items.

During a recent family vacation to Pennsylvania, I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the McDonald’s location in Honesdale. I was with my elderly mother and two small children, simply trying to enjoy a quick meal. Unfortunately, an employee named Veronica made the visit incredibly stressful and upsetting.
I politely asked if more coffee could be added to my iced coffee, as it appeared very light. I made the request kindly and respectfully. However, Veronica responded by aggressively rolling her eyes, grabbing the drink from my hand without a word, and disappearing into the back. When she returned, she handed the drink back to me with visible attitude. I thanked her, but she ignored me and rolled her eyes again.
Things escalated further when I pulled forward to what I thought was the food window (as it had been used the day prior). Veronica abruptly yelled at me, demanding to know what I was doing and telling me in a very rude and aggressive tone that I was at the wrong window. I explained that I had received food from that window before, but her attitude only became more hostile.
Her behavior was extremely unprofessional, and frankly, alarming. She appeared emotionally unstable and reactive over a situation that involved no disrespect or rudeness on my part. I was shocked that someone in customer service, particularly in a setting as widely visited as McDonald’s, would treat a customer this way — especially one with young children and an elderly parent in the car.
I don’t typically leave reviews, but this encounter was disturbing enough that I felt compelled to speak up. I genuinely hope this matter is addressed by management, as no customer should be treated this way — and no one so volatile should be handling food or interacting with the public in such a confrontational manner.
