My wife and I went here on Valentine’s Day. It was one of the finest eating experiences of my life. We both loved the food, service/hospitality, menu variety and creativity. Every dish blew me away in terms of sheer deliciousness and complexity. The vegetarian options are incredible and worth getting. The charred Caesar is a game changing meal and it’s worth driving to this place alone to eat it. And it’s not even the best thing on the menu.

Worth an hour or two drive (or more honestly) to experience it.

Edit 12/8/24: Just to follow up, my wife and I returned here recently for another celebratory meal. We, once again, had our socks knocked off by the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Native impresses once more!

Vegetarian options: Delicious veggie food that blows away anything I’ve ever had.

Dietary restrictions: Amazing selection of gluten free and veggie options. They were delicious.

If chicken fingers and burgers are your food of choice, Native is not for you. However, if locally sourced ingredients prepared in house appeal to your senses, I would highly recommend Native. The Chef obviously cares about each dish. Presentation is Perfection and the complimenting, yet diverse flavors on each dish, are something to truly be experienced. From the local bakery bread with roasted garlic and chili butter, the lemon drop martini, the house made ricotta cavatelli and ending with the butterscotch pot, my dinner was a Grand Slam!

Simply obsessed with this spot. I finally had a chance to visit and every expectation was met and exceeded. The spot itself is beautiful and intimate, and I highly recommend making a reservation. The menu is concise and well thought out. Every attempt is made to source local products. The ribeye was excellent.

Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free offerings.

Parking: Location is on the main street, so parking may fluctuate

Kid-friendliness: It is a smaller, intimate space. Well behaved kids are probably OK.

We tried the Crispy Delicata Squash, Pork Rib Chop, and Roasted Half chicken.
The squash was amazing, and the pork was cooked perfectly with a delicious rub.
Service was excellent!

Genuinely the best meal we’ve had maybe ever. The delicata squash & accompanying sauce is to die for. Mushroom pasta and pumpkin gnocchi were absolutely perfect. We finished with the pawpaw panna cotta which was delicious and surprisingly citrusy, and the pawpaw bread with in-house ice cream is THE DESSERT OF OUR LIVES. Candy was our server and she was an absolute delight. Ten stars. A hundred stars.

The food tasted lovely and the place inside is delightful. The portion sizes are laughable for the price and just in general. I read other posts to see if people felt the same, and they do. I saw an awful response from the owner that made me downgrade from a 3 star to a 2 because they told the reviewer to “go to Olive Garden instead.” This reeks of privilege and is not the kind of response that I would expect of a high end establishment that wants to attract people of all kinds who enjoy a good meal. The owner could have easily said something like “I’m sorry you feel that way, we pride ourselves in local ingredients that require smaller portion sizes and higher prices” but they did not. I would be fine with that if they advertised it up front and recommended a certain amount of dishes based on that fact.

The entire dining experience is perfected executed. We had the charred Caesar, squash toast, artichoke ravioli, pumpkin gnocchi, cheesecake, and smoked Oreo. Everything truly 10/10 stars. I would highly recommended anything off the menu, I believe it would all be absolutely to die for. The restaurant had such a romantic and quaint vibe. Fantastic job to everyone involved! I am visiting from cocoa beach, fl and we don’t have anything near delicious as Native.

Food is really delicious and well put together. Staff is friendly and usually will find you a place to sit though it does get busy and I think they prefer reservations. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, warm and the open kitchen is very enjoyable. Deserts are excellent

The food was fantastic, waitress was fantastic, host should find another profession. We called letting the restaurant know we were going to be 10 minutes late (huge rain storm) was told my hostess that table behind us. Meal was great had 2 children with us, they found things on the menu and were well behaved. After dinner they couldn’t find anything on the dessert menu so let kids go across the street and get ice cream, the kids one 12 and one 6 brought the ice cream back into restaurant the hostess came to the table and instead of just stating the policy and telling us to have the children eat the ice cream outside she came to the table and caused a scene. Said she was going to add a few for the ice cream and made the children feel so bad they didn’t even eat their ice cream. When leaving the hostess had no class and told the people that were going to sit down at the table we were at that the reason they had to wait was because the party before was 10 minutes late. Again a classless response. Some of the party started to leave after the scene and the hostess asked if we paid our bill. Completely classless again. Again food was excellent, service was excellent, hostess needs to go. Turned a wonderful experience into a nightmare should be fired.

Was told by owners sorry we didn’t like the policy. Had nothing to do with policy had to do with professionalism of the hostess

Worst front of the house. Rude, ignorant, zero clue on customer service. She clearly has no experience in high end restaurants, certainly looks like a mess too- not dressed the part. Ruined our meal. I’m embarrassed for her and the owners that they hired her.

When you act like trash you get treated like trash.

First things first, book a reservation. Best and arguably, only upscale dining experience in a 20+ mile radius. Farm to table small plates made to share with unique seasonally curated menu, delicious cocktail offerings, and a very attentive staff that make you feel at home.

Menu changes often here is what we ate…

Caramelized Peach Toast with Whipped Ricotta
Poached Shrimp and Snap Pea Salad
Spinach and Artichoke Ravioli
Charred Caesar Salad
Mushroom Cavatelli
