Myself and my wife have celebrated our 27 anniversary we rented a airbnb in Honesdale and did not realize how far everything was away we had to drive out 10 minutes before we got a signal on our phones. The nearest place was called Pepper bar and Grill. we ordered a couple of appetizers and two dinners two hours. Surprise were the greatest dinners we had in a long time this place is a hidden gem. If you are around the area you need to check it out so awesome. Our bartender was named Katie. She was amazing. We had such a great time. Thank you for everything.

Update: Well I went back. It was worse. It took 4 minutes just to get a seat. The place had 1 gentleman at the bar. We waited 3 minutes to get our drink order taken. Then waited 5 minutes for our drinks to come. My drink was wrong. I thanked the server and said we were leaving.
Bun was burnt. Not toasted but, burnt. The meal would have been great but the cook must keep an eye on all food being prepared. The server was nice. The area needs attention. Dusting, washing windows, floor care, and fish tank care would bring this establishment to a higher level. It has a lot of potential. Also a sign indicating the restaurant entrance is essential. I'll try it again with hopes that some improvements are made.

Love this place!!! The atmosphere, the food and the service are all Top Notch!! The owner, Katie, is so welcoming and the staff really go out of their way to make sure you're enjoying yourself. Will definitely be returning as often as possible. Ty Katie, Sharon, and Cheyenne for making my birthday away from home so very memorable.

Burgers are excellent. Delish fresh veggies peppers and beef. Service was also excellent. Could use a dusting around the tables and windows cleaned though but other than that excellent. We will be back.
Parking: Use google maps to locate the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu and they have activities for kids right outside the restaurant. Swimming splash pad and chickens roaming around.
Not a fancy place, but good dependable spot. They were very short-staffed but the waitress was great! She was the only waiter, and she handled the whole place with a smile and efficiency. The chili was yummy.

Disappointed! We went for a late lunch and it was a disaster. We sat ourselves. We also had to get our own menus and own silverware. It took over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant to get our order of nachos. The nachos seemed to have been done for awhile as the chips were blackened and mushy. We received our bill and was asked to pay before receiving our food. The bill did not even match what I ordered. My daughter’s hamburger was extremely dry. I ordered a BLT which consisted of 2 pieces of bacon, a piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato on bread covered in butter that wasn’t toasted all for a bargain price of $12.95. My husband and daughter ordered sweet potato fries and truffle fries. They received plain fries. The service was poor and the food was poor quality.
