Excellent chicken BBQ. The store has very good jarred sauces and desserts also. Very friendly, family run place. 1 picnic table to eat at.Parking: Parking is easy, just pull right up on the gravel.Kid-friendliness: Fun for kids to picnic but only one bench. There are chickens in a pen to watch and secer horses around.
The barbecue here is very good. They make their own sauce and cook over grills on the farm. The ribs and chicken are excellent. You can get meals, or just the barbecue. You can't really eat there. It is all take Outland they have limited hours

I stopped today around 11:30 and waited in line for less than five minutes. Half chicken was $5.50 -- super tender and delicious -- and I also picked up a pint of tasty cole slaw for $3. Yes, I'd say it's the best BBQ chicken I've had in years. Take out only, but Hibernia Park's picnic area is less than 4 miles to the south.
