I have been going to Buona Via since it opened and Restaurante Mediterranean before that. This is the last time we will be returning. The “Manager” is a smug, condescending know it all whoIt seemed like is father owns the restaurant and gave his son the Manager position. First, when we arrived, I asked where Sal was and he lied saying he was here the other day and was off that night. Then when I complained about the food quality, he lied to me saying that Sal was never in the kitchen. The Veal Marsala was not pounded enough and was as tough as leather. The shrimp in the Scallop and Shrimp dish still had the shells on them, in addition to the tails. Branzino has been my go- to dish there as it was so dry, I had to order a side sauce. After the confrontation with the “Manager” a couple of the long time staff came up to us and said it wasn't the same since the new ownership. Sal, enjoy your retirement. But you are sorely missed. Stay away from Buona Via.
This is our local "go-to" restaurant. The food is consistently great, the menu is inviting, and the service is attentive and friendly. We look forward to returning soon.
We all have different food but all was excellent. Wine and all drinks all good and Service was outstanding
Although pricey the food was very good. Service was overly attentive in taking plates away way before finishing. Service seemed to want to clear the table and go home. Most annoying was the "convenience fee" for using a credit card. I mean come on. We spent over $250 for dinner, and the restaurant nickel dimes you for a service fee.
I think the wait staff could have been a little more friendlier. The atmosphere and ambiance could have been a little more Italian. Made a 3:45 reservation because lunch was still being served and we wanted the lunch menu and was told that they start dinner service at 3:30. According to the website lunch is served until 4:30
It's a beautiful restaurant. The architecture is awesome from the inside and outside. Reminds you of Italy☺️ Warm atmosphere. Outside dining looks beautiful. Our waitress was so accommodating and kind. The “Mother's Day Brunch” food taste and options lacked a lot to be desired. You could tell that wasn't the usual there. The food wasn't good at all but the Vibe and Staff was cool. We will return for Lunch or Dinner. It seemed like that may be better. The menu for both sounded good. All of which was not part of the “Mother's Day Brunch” I'm sure the actual Italian Food will be great😊
Parking lot was completely full. We had to park next door and walk up hill to get to restaurant. Not sure what the two hostesses were doing but I checked in for our reservation and we watched them sit other reservations down as well as walk ins. Had to ask when we would be seated. They scrambled and sat us. It was as if they forgotten about us. Food was decent. Calamari was fresh but not crispy at all. Chicken parm was good but risotto was just ok. Limoncello cake was very good.
Food was very good. Signature pear martini was fantastic. Wine selection is good but slightly pricey - amarone is great but $28/glass is high. Bartender was friendly and genuine. Great neighborhood restaurant overall
Service, food and ambiance was awesome. First time at restaurant and will definitely be back!
This restaurant is a gem!!! The new owners have made it a showcase ! Food, service, ambiance..all FIVE STAR. So lovely to eat outside also. Cannot wait to go back!!!

The day was lovely, so we ate on the patio. Our waitress was very friendly and could not do enough for us. Our lunch orders were plated very nicely and the taste was very good. Would recommend.
The food was excellent, one of the best steaks we've had in a while. Lobster ravioli and gnocchi gorgonzola were wonderful; desserts very tasty. Our servers were attentive. The music could have been lowered slightly, but over all a great experience. We appreciated the a la carte menu for a holiday (Easter) dinner.
Great spot. Food was above par. If they offer the bronzino and you like fish, that's what you're getting. Trust me.
My first time there was meeting friends the place is very nice, food was very good I had capellini granchio. Would definitely go back
We celebrated my friend's birthday. We started off with the seafood tower, antipasto and Cesar salad, which were delicious. For entrees we had Bronzino, swordfish, chicken parmigiana and seafood pescatore. Everything was excellent. The presentation of filleting the Bronzino table side was a special touch. For dessert we had pistachios gelato and tiramisu. Service was top notch. They celebrated my friend's birthday with a beautifully decorated dessert plate. We will definitely be coming back!
