The Iron Abbey has an impressive array of alcoholic beverages (“happy juice”) and is a great place to enjoy televised sports while sitting around the large bar or at small tables around the periphery. If you’re looking for sharing the excitement of a big game, you can freely cheer for your team with friends (or strangers) . . . especially if it’s the home team. However, a word of caution: If you’re looking for exceptional food and conversation, you might choose to go to another venu for relaxed leisurely dining . . . Or just bring your earplugs. Kudos to the pleasant waitstaff for jeopardizing their sense of hearing as they serve their customers with friendly smiles.

We began our meal with a delicious and beautifully presented cheese board. The nightly special was a barbecue platter with ribs and pulled pork. My husband said it was good but would have been better with more spices. He loved the sweet potato fries. I had the cheesesteak sandwich which is huge. It was good but I was surprised that the mushrooms and onions were ground up with the meat instead of being served on top. Service was friendly and efficient.

Went for their $29.95 all you can eat BBQ & Brew event on July 4th. Not a good experience. Brisket wasn't served, it was pulled pork. Putting BBQ sauce on the plate doesn't make it a BBQ dinner. Everything was just piled onto the plate whether you wanted it or not, weird but ok. At least the mashed potaoes slapped onto the pork gave it some sort of flavor. Pretty sad when the best part of a bbq meal is the coleslaw. Waitress walked by us at leat 10 times, never acknowledged us after whe put our plates down, asked if there was anything else we wanted, refill our drinks nothing. We were at the 2 top near the kitchen entrance, not like she didn't see us. She finally stopped to ask if we wanted anything else after we gave up and put our napkins in our plates. They weren't busy. Plenry of staff. Just bad service and meh food.

We came to the Iron Abbey to celebrate a birthday. The hostess was friendly and the waiter came right to our table despite the crowd. The charcuterie selection was fresh and we particularly liked the pistachio butter that was served along with the meats and cheeses. The waiter recommended the pork chop and I’m glad he did. It was cooked perfectly and enough so that I had leftovers. The Iron Abbey is a good spot for dinner or just drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is always good.

Iron Abbey is a great place to enjoy casual dining with an awesome selection of craft beers from around the world. We usually go for the Happy Hour on Fridays. Great food and drinks at reduced prices. Great pub atmosphere. Every server we ever had was great. Very friendly, efficient, and good knowledge of the various beer selections. They also have a takeout area upstairs with hundreds of beers. We had dinner and drinks at happy hour for about $60. A great bargain. What's not to love about this place. ♥️

Pork chop was unparalleled perfection! Checked and gnocchi (aka dumplings) was ethereal. Yum! Service was prompt and friendly but not intrusive. Beer selection excellent. Sit inside, noisy by the highway upstairs.

Fantastic selection of world Whiskeys and common staples, and a considerable repertoire for high quality cocktails, its worth heading up the stairs just for the quiet and the atmosphere. For beer drinkers too, the bottle shop has a great selection, including wine and mead.

Always an amazing experience

The bartenders and wait staff were very attentive and did a great job, Unfortunately, I was sick all last night going to the bathroom every 10 min. Skip the burgers, pulled pork and Shepards pie. We also had a number of apps that were marginal. Do not sit upstairs because there was no heat last night

I have been going to this pub for 8 years. The beer selection is great, and the loft upstairs offers a great atmosphere with a wide whiskey selection.I would like to see some more variety on the specials list. Once you venture from the cheesesteak or burger the quality of the food definitely declines. I’ve been served undercooked chicken and shrimp in salads on several occasions. This is a very loud sports bar, so it isn’t the best pick for a family sit down dinner on a weekend. Music is turned way up.I’ve seen servers come and go, and some of them are nicer than others. Drink quality always remains top notch.Overall great place for a brew with the lads; would head over to Nabrassa for a sit down dinner.

I've been trying to review local spots and Iron Abbey is one of the best. They have a great menu and excellent specials - the steak specials never disappoint. I'm obsessed with their garlic shrimp and wings too. We eat here at least once per month. My husband and I really enjoy their rotating beer menu and their upstairs has a dedicated whiskey bar with some creative cocktails - its very fun up there. You won't have a bad meal here, especially anything meat-related as iron Abbey is connected to Na'Brasa steakhouse. Highly recommended.

Opentable Diner

We arrive early and was seated promptly, had a few appetizers and along with drinks. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
