Very nice, quiet coffee shop. Drinks are excellent, and so are the food/pastries! The Black/White Mocha and Black/White Peppermint Mocha are so good! Great spot to check out!
Best coffee spot in town. The outdoor area is dog-friendly. The prices are reasonable and the coffee is delicious. Great for if you want to take a walk and grab a coffee.
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options available!
Dietary restrictions: They have almond milk and soy for those who avoid dairy.
l feel that this cocoa beanery location has gone so far down hill- it used to be great. The food was terrible and so were the employees’ attitude! I do not leave reviews often but, there was no reason for the rude service we received today! I have been a semi regular customer for a few years now and had come back while on break.
Cocoa Beanery's new mascot?! We traveled 5.5 hours with our puppy Cocoa Bean to visit this coffee shop and to get some photo ops, coffees and hopefully some merch! We left with a ton of pictures, a delicious dog treat, a couple of amazing coffees and bags of beans! The staff was really friendly and Cocoa Bean enjoyed her visit (outside of course - inside is not pet friendly).
Yummy coffee and good food options! Got a pumpkin spice cold brew that had great flavor. Best part is they have tons of outdoor seating and the cutest dog treats so your furry friend can join you outside :)
Food, drinks, and service is always good. But, HERCO, your meal prep area is gross. You need to deep clean…residue, dust, grime on all surfaces. And, deep clean your dining room floors while you’re at it…gross. Shut it down for a day and do it right…
Smoothie was watery, iced espresso drink didn't have much of coffee taste, we were on the go so no time to rectify.
Had the egg wrap this morning for breakfast and it was pretty sad. The egg had virtually no flavor, and the peppers were still cold and crunchy like they just diced them out of the fridge and threw them in. Not really any flavor to the whole thing…although I will say the latte I got was great. Probably will just stick to coffee when I go next.
French dark roast and a shot served with a smile. I see the poor reviews and couldn’t disagree more with my experience. It’s a local cafe with the trimmings of an upscale cafe. And, the location, well, it’s spectacular.
Husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch. We waited what felt like an exorbitant amount of time for our food. Eventually, I walked up to the counter, maybe 15 minutes after ordering, to see all our food just sitting there. When I asked the girl at the register if they typically call out when food/drinks are ready, she said yes, but neither of us heard anything ??♀️ There were only 3 tables of people there, so they certainly weren't busy.He got the tuna melt. Let me preface this by saying, there's almost nothing this man won't eat, and he was disgusted with his food. I looked over, confused, because why was tuna brown ? It was tuna, low quality at that, straight out of a can. Not tuna salad. Not mixed with anything. Not seasoned. Nothing. On an untoasted English muffin. That was then microwaved. Wet, soppy, and gross. He couldn't even salvage the English muffin. Paid almost $40 for our lunch, for us to both leave disappointed and unsatisfied. Now we will stop at a gas station for a bite to eat, because that will be better than the quality we just had. I'd give zero stars if I could.Only bright spot? The butternut squash soup was pretty decent. Out of 2 sandwiches, a soup, and a salad, to only have 1 palatable item? That doesn't bode well. Apologies for the essay length review, but a few words wouldn't convey our disappointment and disgust. I wasn't expecting something to knock my socks off, but this made a place like subway or Panera seem gourmet. We will not be returning

Coffee was good. Food was terrible. Microwaved sandwich and 2 black coffees, $20.
Well kept little shop. I usually go for a hot latte. I've gotten the same drink a few times in a row and it doesn't always taste the same, so I think consistency could be improved. As far as iced lattes, they dont blend the espresso with the flavor syrups before dumping into milk and ice, so all the syrup sits at the bottom. I got a mouthful of lavender syrup and while i like lavender, i dont like it THAT much. It was so off-putting i wont be able to get any lavender drinks in the future. They also empty their coffee urns 30+ minutes before closing which is kind of silly for a coffee shop, but their brew isn’t that good anyways so if you want coffee, go for something with an espresso that'll get hidden behind other things like milk or flavored syrups.Otherwise, the menu is short and sweet, the food is fresh, and they offer a seasonal drink menu.
For a change of scenery go to the Cocoa Beanery! This is a great place for all your coffee, tea, water, and even beer needs. There is a farmers market every Thursday. It is located on the other end of the Hospital complex and at the beginning of what will be the West End.
I was really excited to try this place its only 10 mins from work and the social media really entices you.... however my experience was not so great and it could be a fluke. First know not another customer was even in the building when I first walked in. To start I walked in and the only two employees at that time were in the lobby and said nothing to me as I entered which is fine , but then i stood at the counter for sometime with no acknowledgment a simple we will be right over or a hello one moment would have sufficed but nothing was said until the woman there was ready to take my order. once I ordered the woman went to train someone on my coffee which is fine I dont mind waiting even on my lunch break, i received my coffee with the syrup at the bottom of the cup not mixed in and chunky.... then there was a whole discussion between the 4 workers on who would make the sandwich I ordered ... once someone finally just decided to do it after it looked like no one wanted too I watched as the main woman scooped the tuna onto a plate and microwaved it. during the microwave process she would open the door and use her ungloved finger to check the temp realize she used the ungloved hand and then switch to her gloved had and check it. 4 times this persons ungloved and unwashed hand was poked into the tuna she planned to use for my sandwich. while poking the tuna I heard her explaining to the employee she was training how they each do their own things when it come to the food and how another employee not present what i presume to be the manager did not like that and thatd shed have to show him the correct way to do it when shes around... i did not have time to ask for a new sandwich as after the amount of time it took to receive everything I was going to be late back to work. nor did I have time to request a refund on the $20 I spent to get chunky coffee and a Poked Tuna Melt... Typically I dont leave a review but it was just such a poor experience... I will need to find another cafe to get specialty coffee unfortunately.
I went here several times while staying at the hershey lodge. The best part is the ice cream bar! They have a lot of topings and you can add what ever you want for no additional charge. The kids really loved it. The sandwiches and coffee were subpar given the rest of the places at the lodge.
