Ordered via Grubhub. I was staying in a nearby hotel. I noted 3 places on the order I was in a hotel, please send utensils, plates, napkins, grated cheese. They sent nothing. Not so much as one plastic fork. The food was ok. Not great not bad. Perfectly serviceable but sending out a take away order with NOTHING to eat it with just screams "I don't care" about a restaurant. Especially when I wrote it three times in the order in three different places.

After traveling for 2 hours my husband and I were starving, we saw this place across from our hotel. The food was excellent and was filling. Melissa our waitress was very friendly and very attentive. Wish I had room for dessert but was filled from dinner.Just saw that they are closing at the end of the year, sorry to see this. Was planning on going back when I go out again.

Stopped in with the family to try the Italian food and was very pleasantly surprised . The food was excellent , the pasta was superb , the cheesesteak was excellent and the service friendly and responsive . We will certainly be returning .

Everything was wonderful! Although we did want pizza & were told they were all out, which was no problem, but then we saw other tables getting pizza.. otherwise wonderful food & experience!

Solid mom and pop Italian restaurant close to Hershey Park. I made a reservation the week before and when we got there, they didn't have our reservation (Not happy about that at all given that I personally spoke to someone on the phone to make the reservation and they initially told me they don't take reservations. Since we had a larger party, the gentleman told me we could do a reservation, but it would have to be at 7, which was after their busy time. That was fine with me.). Thankfully they were able to sit our party anyway since a few other parties did not show up for their reservation (odd to me they had so many reservations after I was told no reservations initially). They were very busy and the restaurant is quite small and chopped up inside. It took about an hour to get our food. Our waitress was attentive and friendly despite the long wait. The food was good, but nothing fancy or amazing either. A few of us had chicken parm. It was not breaded, which I appreciated, but not everyone did. It is definitely not classic chicken parm. The gnocchi was flavorful, but a different texture than anticipated. It was more like a mini ravioli with the inside being very loose and not dense like the gnocchi we are used to. Still tasty though. The Alfredo sauce was rich and buttery. The bread rolls were also a nice addition to dinner. Parking here can be a real pain - I do not see how there are enough parking spots to fill the restaurant. I counted maybe 25-30 spots. Overall a pleasant experience despite the reservation snafu. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here, but I would eat here again if the circumstances aligned.

Dafno's was recommended to us by family. We were surprised that it ended up being right next to where we were staying. So yeah, it made sense. Friday evening, about a 15 minute wait. Staff all working together and they seemed to help each other out. We ordered the meatball and garlic bread appetizer and a grilled chicken pizza. They did not do it as a white grilled chicken. All of their pizzas had red sauce on them. our server Kim was very nice,attentive and we enjoyed what we ordered. Pleasant atmosphere, reasonable and good food.

The people working there are kind and helpful. They are five star worthy. Wish I could say the same about the food. It used to be very good. Now, fair at best. Spaghetti with garlic and oil should have at least a garlic taste. It was bland and not even warm. It was disappointing.

We ate here because family of ours who lives in the area highly recommended it and they were spot on. The service was amazing, the food was cooked to perfection and the portions are more than what you would expect. Very clean restaurant and great service
My spaghetti with meat balls was large enough to share with my wife! We took 1/2 of it home for the next day's lunch. My wife had the Lasagna, which was an adequate quantity, but we could not find much ricotta. Should have shared a dish, as is our normal custom when trying a new place. We informed our server we were celebrating my wife's birthday, but they did not offer so much as a complimentary cannoli! We made sure to ask them to bring the entrees out steaming hot, and they did!

This place is fabulous. The food was wonderful and the people were the friendliest we met in the state of Pennsylvania. The spaghetti and meatball s and lasagna were superior. I would go back again and again

I had veal parm with pasta. Veal was small and breading soggy and not good. Pasta was ok. Wife had stuffed salmon and said was not that good too. Salad was fair and bread was a bun. Will not go back again..... Food is more like Diner food....

I arrived close to closing time and they were so gracious about letting me order food to go and didn’t even mention that they were closing soon. Super friendly staff, plenty of food, reasonable price, and it’s yummy! I had the Mediterranean Shrimp Salad and a meatball appetizer- entirely too much food for one person, but, leftovers are never a bad thing :)

Great dinner experience here! Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we entered and quickly shown to a table. There is a good amount of booth and table seating. Our waitress was very informative and recommended popular and favorite dishes. There is no outdoor seating but there is a nice sized parking lot. Both beer and wine were on the menu as well. We got the eggplant fries for appetizer which was very tasty. They were served with their homemade pomodoro sauce. The chicken sacchettini was also very good. The dinners also came with a nice salad and dinner roll. I will have to come back to try one of their pizzas which smelled delicious and were highly recommended. Overall a great Italian food dinner in Hershey!
