Fire & Grain at Hershey Lodge

Loved all the food. Servers are polite and friendly. Ambience is warm and aesthetic. Will definitely try again.

Cons: kitchen seemed overwhelmed for a wed night. Bruschetta flatbread was missing tomatoes. Pros: hummus was delicious. Customer service was great.

Service was great. My steak burger tasted good, but it was over cooked. My spouse felt his flat bread was fine, not great for the price. Atmosphere was ‘energetic', also not what we were looking for at 7:15pm.

I have celiac disease and they were very knowledgeable regarding menu items. I had the burger with gluten free bun, and it was delicious! My husband does not have celiac disease but shared some gluten free bread with me for the goat cheese appetizer, and he loved it. He loved all his non-gf food as well. Great service and we did not wait king for our food, despite it being a Saturday and busy. We did make reservations however. Staff was very friendly! Highly recommend!

The small plates were very tasty we ended up ordering 6 of them for the table. The parmesan Polenta & Goat Cheese dip were out of this world. We will definitely revisit soon.

We specifically chose this restaurant and hotel bc of the buffet. But they apparently cancel it depending upon occupancy. $16 for two eggs, ridiculous.

Derives was good. Bartender touched ice and tops of drink straws with bare hands so as far as hygiene goes, that was icky. A bit dated and mismatched decor. Meals were good though. Ambiance was nice.

Honestly everything was terrific. Very prompt service at the bar. Their pours were generous and the prices were extremely reasonable. The bruschetta was excellent. Fresh fluffy cheese and the bread was soft. One of the best ive ever had. We split a substantial salad to start. I got the bucatini and it was excellent. Wife got the steak burger, which was slightly greasy but delicious. Service was amazing as well

was disappointed and underwhelmed by the rooms. first the floors in the bathroom/powder room area were filthy. Definitely not swept at all. I was not happy with the parking situation. our room was located in kiss A section with the room door outside. there were parking spaces outside those rooms but seemed to ALWAYS be full. might help if they labeled the parking spaces for the corresponding rooms so guests don't have to walk 10 minutes in 15 degree weather to get to their room. ALSO, when we tried to briefly park in the road to unpack out things, security told us it was not allowed. so 2+ suitcases, 15 degrees weather, and dirty rooms. no thanks, I'll stay at Hilton

On a recent trip to Hershey Lodge we dined at fire and grain. My son started drinking his cup of chocolate milk and spit out a sharp piece of plastic. When I opened the cup there were multiple pieces of plastic floating in the cup. I alerted the waiter who brought us another cup of water which also had brown sharp pieces of plastic floating in it. When I called to speak to a manager the next day they said they have been getting multiple complaints about the cups (push through top cups for children) leaving pieces of plastic in the cup yet they are still using them they said they would call me back with a resolution but still have not. Spoke to a Cecelia and Mark Gagliardi and am concerned that they knew this was happening yet still are using the cups putting children at risk. Was told by 3 different people that they would call me back and they never did. Horrible customer service/putting children at risk- do not go here!

Food was good, prices were on high end considering no sides with meal. I had hot chocolate which in previous years was superb, but now tastes like watered down Nestles Quick.

Great appetizers, service, and cocktails!

However, I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a more adult atmosphere. Due to its location in Hershey, many families from the lodge come here for dinner to enjoy the wonderful cocktails.

We stayed at the lodge over the weekend, the lodge and people were very friendly. This restaurant was horrible. The food was bad. We had an incident with my grandsons child cup. My grandson was drinking his chocolate milk and thought he had a piece of chocolate in his mouth because the cup is dark brown. It was a piece of hard plastic from the top of the cup when they put the straw in it then looked in his water cup the same problem. He could of cut his lip, mouth etc. Told the waiter of the issue and no manager came to the table to talk to us and apologize for the incident. This could of turned out to be a serious issue. We did not want to make a scene and we actually could of sued this place. When we left they gave us a dirty look. The staff and the management is very ignorant and rude. We spent money in this establishment and paid for 2 rooms spending over $600.00 for one night to get treated like nothing. Beware of this restaurant and ignorant staff.
