Stopped by here on a road trip, the staff was amazing! Great customer service and super yummy coffee! 😊☕️
We planned a family dinner for Saturday, June 14th at Englewood Hershey with my 93 year-old father, who uses a walker. Two days before, my sister phoned to ask about accessibility and whether we could use the elevator, as we have done on prior visits. No one returned her call. She tried again the next day. Same story: no call-back. When we arrived on Saturday evening, the staff denied use of the elevator. They insisted instead that my elderly, mobility-impaired father use a long, sloping curved outdoor walkway in the rain to enter the restaurant at the lower level, vs. the steep indoor or outdoor stairs. The reason given was a private party through which we would have had to pass briefly to access the elevator. During our meal, we asked the manager if we could use the elevator for my father on the way out. She denied us access. When it was time to go, I took him to the elevator anyway, through public dining spaces on the lower level, having used it before with him on prior visits. The alternative would have been to have him walk back UP the long, steep sloping outdoor walkway in the rain with his walker, risking a fall. The rest of our party took the stairs. Having reached the upper level in the elevator, we sought to simply walk from the elevator to the exit toward the parking lot. On the way, we were accosted rudely by staff who exited us through a side door because otherwise we would have had to briefly, unobtrusively pass through what we were told, as we were given the bum’s rush, was “a $30,000 wedding.” No one expressed concern for our safety related to the elevator. The concern expressed was that we would be disrupting a crowded, noisy $30,000 wedding reception by quietly passing through briefly on the way to the front door. The alternative would be having my father walk back UP the long, steep sloping outdoor walkway in the rain. Englewood Hershey owners maintain the walkway is short and ADA-compliant, but it’s a long walk for a 93 year-old in a walker in the rain. I wonder what happens when there’s snow on the ground. All of this unpleasantness could have been avoided had the restaurant answered the phone or returned my sister’s call. Had we known the elevator was off limits, we simply would have gone elsewhere. I would NOT recommend Englewood Hershey for anyone with mobility issues.
We got married at the Englewood in June 2024 - Our wedding was a spectacular day with endless support. After emailing and corresponding with Carly for over a year to plan the day, we had the "day of" help with Lani and Kate who absolutely did it all. From moving tables in their heels, to words of support before walking down the aisle, or subbing in as a makeup artist when yours comes a little later than expected - they did everything in their power to make our day go smoothly. Along with the staff, our food was fantastic (as was our tasting experience) and the barn needs very little decoration to be the perfect background of any special occasion. Can't recommend the Englewood enough

Had lunch downstairs and was amazing. Salads were fresh and crisp, Salmon was cooked perfectly grilled, and steak as well. Server, Austin, was the highlight of the meal. We never ran out of drinks, he was very attentive and knew we were thirsty on a hot afternoon, so he always showed up with water or tea in hand. Hard to find great service like that anymore, a real gem. We will be back soon!

Cant say enough about our server or the food here.

Hosted my daughter’s baby shower yesterday, it was great! The Englewood crew really stepped up to help anyway they could! Helped us decorate and clean up.
Food was excellent, we had the catered Taco bar and chips & Dip. Plenty of food!
Great drinks too!

Was asked if outside seating was fine and said yes got sat and no one ever said anything to us. Sat for 20 mins before walking out because people that got sat after us and only waited 3 mins was getting their drink order taken and we still weren't even greeted by one person and 5 different workers walked by us

The Englewood is truly the perfect wedding venue - a beautiful refurbished barn, delightful coordinators, and a wide selection of delicious food and local alcohol. While there are multiple packages to pick from, they will work with you to customize every detail of your wedding day to give a personal and intimate feel. The barn has professional sound quality unmatched by any other local venue that will work perfectly for a DJ or live band. The layout is fully customizable and has plenty of space for tables, a large dance floor and options for guests to take a break (upstairs, on the patio or in the private bar/lobby area). I cannot say enough about how accommodating the staff was both during the planning process and last-minute day-of changes. They put you and your guests first and they will do whatever is necessary to ensure your vision comes to life. You will not find a better value in the Central, PA area for a wedding than The Englewood and we will definitely be using them for any events we have in the future! For reference, we had 155 people and hosted our wedding reception at The Englewood.
Even if you're not getting married, I still recommend stopping by for lunch, dinner or drinks!

We were told that chicken is halal but our friends went and found out that even though the chicken is halal it is being friend in the same oil as pork! This is not called halal then.

We went tonight with our family ! Brie was the best server she took care of us ! Great experience!!
Our Wedding DJs, AV Team, and Photo Booth staff love working at The Englewood. From the extremely nice and outgoing staff to the picturesque venue and landscape, this is a top-ten wedding and event venue in the area.
Restaurant has downstairs seating outside and is accessible to powered handicap scooters. When the weather is nice a beautiful place to enjoy the excellent food and beer.
Great food and great service. The outside patio is fantastic for dinner.
Great relaxing place for a nice evening with your date. The patio view adds to the serenity. They have about 10 ish beers on tap, a few can selections, and a full bar. Food is also good :). If you have a bigger party they have the space. It’s also kid friendly saw many families there.
