Always a stocked salad bar, large variety of soups and desserts. Waitress was very good and attentive
We were absolutely thrilled to find a Hoss's restaurant near us (we were staying near Raystown Lake this week). Most of the Hoss's near our home (in the Hershey, PA, area) have closed thanks to the panic caused by government and other officials over COVID-19. So thankful this one still remains; they lived up to their tradition of good value and tasty food. The garlic bread was one of the best iterations of that that we have ever had. Please visit and support this wonderful establishment so they remain a delicious part of this community!
Stopped here because I had a delivery to make in Huntingdon PA. The service was excellent as well as the food. Enough space in the parking lot to park the semi. Thank you for a great meal.

Waitress was terrible, slow distracted too busy talking to other people. Lost in the kitchen. Could not get my receipt to check out. Had to wait for her 15 minutes.

Entire experience was average, except the birthday celebration was really nice! Granddaughter enjoyed them singing to her.

This building is so beautiful and welcoming. I'm used to a different location. We came for a breakfast buffet with our group and I'm so glad we did. The staff was beyond amazing, so polite and helpful when it came time to a million ring outs. Thank you for such a great start to our day of adventure.

This Hoss’s was clean and quiet with a nice atmosphere. The server was cheerful.
Unfortunately, the food disappointed, and we usually love Hoss’s. The salad bar was dirty, the soups and hot sides were all dried up, the garlic bread was cold, and the apple sauce was fermented/turned. The coleslaw was brown and bland. We went on a quiet week night, so being busy was not the problem, but more of a “saving money” issue by not pitching old food and allowing it to sit out a long time.
My spouse’s steak was ok, but my medium tips were burnt, hard and crunchy. The server barely offered any apology and did not offer any kind of substitute or restitution, although she was cheerful. Probably because we mentioned the problems in a kind way & did not make a fuss.
The guy at the front, the host, was really nice.
The almost $40 tab was way too much for the food we received.
I do NOT like to review negatively. When I do, it is constructive and hopeful that the business will see the review and change for the better…. Otherwise people like us will not return.
Hoss’s: Pitch old food, stop being miserly, check on the salad bar often, and have diligence all around.

A server from the salad bar section was a little on the rude side. Every time she saw me she turned and went back into the prep area. I was going to speak twice but the air was a little on the cold side. Her name is Bethany.
