Hoss's Steak & Sea House

The food wasn't bad but our order wasn't exactly what we ordered. Took a long time to get our drinks and be served. Apparently big parties took precedence over all else. Server was ok and friendly, but food was actually served by the hostess who was a little cocky and unfriendly like she didn't want to be there. Never had this bad of an experience before and hope this is a one off and will try again in the future.

I am a DoorDasher and Hoss’ don’t seem to be able to handle both eat-ins and take-outs. I have waited to pickup order 20 minutes twice and the last one was 37 minutes. This costs Dashers money as well as the customers an unreasonable wait.
My suggestion is to not order take out.

Great place for a party or family get togethers!

We were very hungry and this did the job

The place was Not busy and we had to wait until someone came to seat us. After eating I went to find someone to pay the bill and another customer asked if I worked there and they would like to be seated. A different server says that my server would take care of my payment.

Next time I am in town I'll go to Wendy's or something else.

Food was cold and took forever to be served, very bland and probably the worst Hoss’s we’ve ever eaten at. Salad bar was the only decent menu item. The restaurant was pretty vacant, maybe a handful of tables with PLENTY of staff. Waitress would literally look at us and walk right past us without asking if we needed anything. Empty drinks and cold food, 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ordered a steak salad from takeout. Ate the steak salad happily. Nothing to complain about here.

Decent salad bar.

Was just there last evening for dinner with a buddy of mine. Our server was Sarah. Sarah was very kind and prompt. She made our dinner a great experience. Thank you Sarah.

Perfect place to fuel up after hiking the Thousand Steps! Waitress was incredibly helpful and attentive. Salad bar was more than enough to provide options for each of us!

This place has got worse in the last few years but this last time I was there takes the cake 10/24/24 evening 10min to get a seat (was not even busy maybe 10 people seated) after seated waitress came over and said help are self to the salad bar they was short staffed and she would be back to get are drink order 20 min later she was back for drink order only another 10min to actually get the drinks at that point she took are order and decided we just wanted the meatloaf bowl and with waiting for that for another 30min me and my wife done filled up on the salad bar (that was about horrible wilted lettuce and could tell most of the stuff was on there a good while and dried out) so when the meatloaf bowls came out we asked for a to go box for them and are check waitress brought the to go containers no check said she be back in a min and 10min went past as she was making small talk with other people and I had to snap on her to get my check to get out of there,2 hrs pass after leaving and my wife and I was in the bathroom vomiting.... never will return to this place again worse experience I ever had at a restaurant
