Gave this place a try today for breakfast and I was not disappointed at all, the food was great, served hot and fresh! I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was a good quality english muffin. An order of homefries is a meal in itself. I like that they serve breakfast all day.

I've been here a few times and the value for the food - both in quality and amount served - is very high for the prices.Everything tastes and looks fresh and well made.My only (small) complaint is that they don't accept cards, but they do have an ATM on-site if you really need it.

Great food. Good menu. Nice staff. The cheeseburger sub, cheesesteak sub and fries were delicious! Will be returning. My only complaint is that they don't take cards and the atm charges a $2.75 fee.

Walked in at noon. There were 3 tables of people and a few at the bar. So, not crowded at all. We waited 10 to 15 minutes for someone to get our drink orders. Another 10 minutes until we actually our drinks (simple ones too - a lemonade, an iced tea, and a soda). I had to send the lemonade back because there were black things of varying sizes floating in it. Took another 5 minutes to get a new one. The iced tea was supposed to be raspberry flavored, but there was no recognizable flavor to it at all. It tasted like powdered Lipton tea. Placed our order (2 orders of wings with one side of cheese fries, and a buffalo chicken wrap with a side of regular fries). That's it . . . pretty freaking simple. We waited about 20 minutes and the waitress came out with the cheese fries. Nothing else. They weren't an appetizer they were a side dish to the wings. Ate all of those and 15 to 20 minutes later the rest of the meals arrived. The wings looked like they had been frozen, nothing fresh here. One of the wings orders was for Garlic Parm Wings. There was NO garlic parm sauce/dressing anywhere. The wings were swimming in what was very clearly bottled Italian salad dressing. The only truly edible item was the buffalo chicken wrap. Their menu states that they have pulled pork fries, but we found out it's NOT pulled pork, it's cubed beef. Our table rocked constantly, even after we folded up the paper towels they use as napkins and put them under the legs. Another group of three ladies came in a moved to new tables twice because their tables were rocking as well. I was told that as few as 2 years ago, the Muddy Run was always packed and the food was very good. It's clear that they've resorted to a lot of frozen foods, bottled dressings and packaged drink mixes. That most likely explains why the place was virtually empty during the lunch rush hour. People are learning that they're taking shortcuts which will prove to be their downfall.

Service is terrible. Sat down at bar for 10 minutes bartender walked around bar twice and didnt even look at me mind you there was 4 people at bar.

Service has really gone down lately! Two times in a row - VERY DISAPPOINTED! Last time (about a month ago) it took over an hour to get our food, so we got it boxed to go and they gave us a $20 gift card as a way to make up for them taking to long. Figured we would give it another try and have to say that this time was even more of a disappointment. After 10 minutes had to get our own menus from the hostess stand. 10 minutes after that I needed to ask the bartender if we could sit at a table that someone might serve us and wipe down the table from the prior guests. Finally got our order taken and the waitress wouldn't show any concern that their were issues with our visit already. During our 50 minute wait for our food I needed to go to the bar to get our pitcher of water filled because the waitress never came back during that time. Other than the waitress not bringing the fries until I was about to walk back for them, the pasta was over cooked, and salmon was dry. Never being a complainer has made this visit very difficult when I shared with the waitress the issues we were having and she says that she has been apologizing all night and I am being the problem...... are you kidding me..... I asked her to put herself in my situation almost 2 hours later (arrived at 5:40 and left at 7:30) and her apology was only that she was sorry that she can't control the kitchen. But she could have controlled us getting menus, cleaning the table, checking on us, getting water, bringing the fries with the food and overall being somewhat helpful when issues are being addressed and not making it out that I am being the problem when addressing the actual legitimate problems that I have no control over. I asked my kids if she ever apologized because I never heard it before getting the check and they said she did say something about being sorry she can't control the kitchen while she was over at their side of the table. She never spoke to the person bringing up the issues and dared to say she was apologizing all night. I wish I didn't spend almost 2 hours in this place tonight trying to get service and needing to speak up, but made to feel that I shouldn't have said anything. If I didn't say anything we would have been still sitting there at a dirty table waiting for menus!
