If you find Applebee’s freshly-microwaved fettuccine alfredo delightfully complex, then keep eating there! But if you appreciate authentic mediterranean cuisine cooked to order, then get to Lil' NY. It’s a portal transcending both time and space. I spent $23.65 on a gyro, beef empanada, and an asparagus salad to go. All were delicious. My only regret was ordering one empanada instead of twelve.

This place is such a hidden treasure! Incredible personal service. We had empanadas based on the bazillion other mentions on here and they did not disappoint. Very flavorful! Also had beef and broccoli stir fry which my mom loved (best thing she’s ever eaten). I had chicken gyro which was everything I was hoping for. Finished with fantastic coconut flan and coffee. (Don’t skip the coffee it too was really great). We will be back!!!
This place is so cute and reminds me so much of Latin family own restaurant back in Colombia. The food was really yummy and made me nostalgic. Recommend !

What a unique gem! This is not a fancy place or a large place, but our food was fresh and delicious! The flavors are their own, don't expect chain restaurant consistency. One can order to-go items at the counter, which is in plain view of the kitchen. There are a couple of small table up front, with a few larger tables in the back room. We really were able to get cheese empanadas and veggie gyros at Lil NY!
