Good food! Very fresh and homemade, can't beat that. Just a tiny little place right next to the movie theater. Owners are friendly and do all the cooking and waitresses. It's a must try if you're downtown huntingdon.

My husband and I took a chance and made a Friday evening stop at the Lil New York in Huntingdon. Honestly, it has the appearance of a "hole in the wall" hotdog/hamburger joint. But we were pleasantly surprised. My husband said his deep fried burrito was truly awesome, and I loved my gyro and the baklava for dessert. The beef empanadas were also very, very good. On top of that, the prices were reasonable, and the owner could not have been more kind and gracious. We are going back and taking someone with us.

A hidden gem in downtown Huntingdon. Diverse menu offering a taste of several cuisines. The Ecuadorean couple that runs this place are amazing, very friendly, and humble and will customize the food to your taste. For them a happy and satisfied customer is very important, which should be the motto for all restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our go to when we want fresh delicious homemade food. We get tired of all the fast food around, and Lil New York is a breath of fresh air with its REAL Ingredients! I love this place and the family that runs it. They always remember you and make you feel right at home. Not only is the food great but the people are wonderful, as well!

Came during “business hours” just to find out they don’t do business during those hours despite it being posted online and in their window. Waste of a drive attempting to find good food.

Small, quaint place in a small and quaint town with excellent costumer service and amazing food! I ordered the plantains, beef empanadas and stuffed peppers. The food tasted like it came straight from my grandmother's kitchen. This was easily a 5-star experience and I highly recommend it!

Very Beary

Extremely cheap costs for food that is delectable. The woman who owns it is a sweetie, and she could be charging double for the size/quality of her food.Vegetarian options: anything on their menu seems to have a vegetarian optionWheelchair accessibility: It is not very wheelchair friendly, however, I know that if you couldn't access the building that they would still help you and make you feel welcome.

Such a surprise to find a mom and pop, ethnic and authentic restaurant located in the heart of rural Pennsylvania. A blend of Ecuadorian and Greek cuisine executed perfectly by the sweet owner. Originally from Equador and 1st husband being Greek gives the interesting spin on the menu. She is proud and more than happy to explain the menu and make suggestions for newcomers. Prices are super reasonable and probably why we ordered everything! Started with the garbanzo salad with delicious lemony dressing. Papusas tamales and emoanadas where awesome, all with good choices of fillings. She has the touch with the dough on all three with tenderness. Maduros aka fried plantains were a unique side and couldnt pass on the pastitsio and sautéed olives w pita to round out the meal. Totally stuffed but a shared coconut flan was the icing on the cake! An absolutely beautiful meal! Do not hesitate to experience these fantastic flavors so many Americans miss and have no clue about! Do not miss the boat! Right beside the movie theater for an early dinner. Do it!
