“We had the most memorable experience celebrating our first anniversary. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was stellar. We did a dining pod and loved the intimate atmosphere. We are so thrilled with the small touches that meant so much. 🤍“

“My husband and I truly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Foggy Mountain Lodge. It was better than staying at a hotel. The grounds were beautiful, and the location was quiet. Our room was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed eating our breakfast in the Cedar Lodge living room with the beautiful stone fireplace. The rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend this beautiful place.“
“My kids really enjoy this campground. There is a lot going on to keep them entertained and the water area is fantastic. Highly recommend the upper sites unless you want to spend a fortune on a golf cart. There were a few things we were unhappy about: On Tuesday, 8/1, they seemed very understaffed. Two of the girl life guards just sat openly on their phones rather than watching the pool like they are supposed to. It seemed like these young girls were just doing what they wanted and that there was no adult in charge making sure that they were doing their job. The other girl would at least try to hide her phone behind her floating device, but the other girl was ignorant enough to just openly sit on her phone the entire time she was watching the slide area. The water was freezing! Seems unreasonable for end of July/beginning of August. Unfriendly staff. Most people we had interaction with were not very friendly. Hardly anyone was smiling and seemed happy and willing to be there working - all young kids. The man that checked to see if we were about to check out (prior to check-out), was very unfriendly as well. He was sure to tell me that we had 6 minutes left. Keep in mind that although we were trying to enjoy every minute of our time, we were almost ready to pull out. If we were there 15 or 20 minutes past check out, I could see being addressed that way, but prior to check-out is inappropriate when it isn't in a professional/friendly manner. On the other hand, the men running the carousel and train were super friendly. The one young boy that was working the slides at the bottom of the hill on Monday (7/31) at the end of the day (he was also at the top of the slides on Wednesday 8/2), was also very nice and personable. The traffic is horrible!!! Between vehicles and golf carts, it is scary to let you kids ride bikes. Too long to check-in. Although it isn't obvious based on this post, I am not one to complain. However, the service here just rubbed me the wrong way. When I pay these prices for a campground, I expect good interactions between the workers and guests - similar to a hotel.“

“Can’t believe this place hasn’t been reviewed before. We came in not knowing the kitchen had just closed. Just as the waitress was politely explaining the kitchen was closed, chef Dave who was sitting nearby overheard and re-opened the kitchen just for me and my buds. I would recommend their cuban it was delicious.“
“The lodge at the top of the mountain at Seven Springs Resort is old school utilitarian.
Friendly people, great views, outside deck and indoor tables. A little dated? Maybe, but I found it a great place to stop in, warm up and have some lunch.“

“5 Stars - Impeccable Fine Dining and Historic Charm at Seven Springs
Helen's Restaurant truly lives up to its exceptional reputation and is a mandatory culinary experience at Seven Springs. The atmosphere is refined and upscale, enhanced by the restaurant's fascinating history as a former hunting lodge. The staff is not only courteous and friendly, but they are also eager to share the compelling stories behind this beautiful, historic space.
The food itself is nothing short of perfection. From the appetizers through to dessert, every dish was prepared flawlessly and delivered with precision. While Helen's is certainly an investment, budgeting around $100 per person, we maximized the value by taking advantage of the Four Course Special. This option offers a wonderful taste of the menu's best variations and is highly recommended for first-time visitors. For an unforgettable, high-end meal at Seven Springs, look no further than Helen's.“

“We ate here for the first time yesterday and everything we had was good! The vegetable soup was good and the bowl was a substantial portion. My bacon bleu burger was served on a gourmet roll and was done to perfection and really tasty. The drink I ordered had muddled watermelon with lime juice and moonshine. I would get it again. Pricing was what you would expect to pay. Lastly, the hostess, Sammy Jo was a perfect addition to the place. She gave you an "at home" feel, plenty of guests seemed to know her personally and she loved what she was doing- hard to find these days. Kudos to the staff. We will be back!!“

“4 Stars - Convenience and Atmosphere Are Key
The Foggy Goggle is an absolute must visit if you're in the area, less for a culinary pilgrimage and more for the quintessential mountain experience it offers. While the food and service were both perfectly fine (good, but not necessarily outstanding), what truly makes this spot a landmark is its unbeatable atmosphere and prime location.
This isn't just another ski-town eatery; it's a social hub. The place has a palpable buzz, a well-earned popularity that makes it feel like the heart of the action. Whether you're sliding off your skis right outside the door for a quick lunch or settling in for a drink, the convenience is unmatched.
The Foggy Goggle embodies that classic, lively ski-lodge vibe. It's one of those places that's well-known for a reason, it’s where everyone gathers. If you're looking for a lively scene, a convenient spot to recharge, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the mountain, you have to stop by. You go for the location and the vibe, and you stay because it simply feels like the right place to be.“

“What a great restaurant. I was seated at the window to a beautiful view of the slopes. Then, treated to the wonderful buffet that had everything you could want—eggs, bacon, belgium waffles. Everything. Then, the server, Kathy, was the nicest person. Everyone working there was nice! Make sure you visit this restaurant!“
