Went for the Easter buffet. I wanted to love it. We've had some great holidays here in the past, but it was just ok. They did not have ham at a carving station. The ham was boneless slices in a tray. The beef, which was carved fresh, was good. The asparagus was really good. The other sides were mediocre. The desserts and breads were delicious, but they're desserts and breads, so... Overall, it was OK, other than the location, not really worth the price.
We had the Easter buffet. Everything was good.

Recently, the restaurant featured a crab leg buffet on Friday night for $51, which included salad, soup, crab legs, and other entrées such as ham and chicken, plus dessert. Guests found the buffet really, really good, and some chose to return for dinner the next night. However, some diners felt the prices were high, especially with automatic gratuity added for large parties, which raised questions about tipping for self-serve food.
The atmosphere and service received mixed reviews. Visitors were promptly seated at tables with great views of the slopes, and staff was generally pleasant. Still, some experienced issues with meal consistency; for example, bread was not served despite multiple requests, and a Caesar salad came without chicken because they were out. Desserts were often missing or arrived after the meal was finished. Despite these issues, some dishes, like the side dishes, were tasty and portions generous. Overall, Slopeside Dining Room provides a pleasant dining experience with a great view, but meals and service can vary.
