My husband and I really enjoyed dining at Grand Buffet as Indiana Pa doesn't have many good restaurants and I was sad to see a note on the door today Oct 11 that they were closed and heard from someone that they sold and another restaurant was going to go in but no one knows what or when. Grand Buffet was always busy so not sure what made them decide to sell but Indiana will miss a good Chinese Restaurant. We have 2 others and they are fair, Grand's food was always hot and good.
They force tipping on you. The guy at the hibachi made sure to shake his tip jar at me before and after cooking the food, and then we were harassed by the waiter and another employee because I didn't sign a tip on the check (paid with card.) And while I was planning to leave a cash tip, the fact that they sat there and stared at my family and I while we finished our food, then again demanded a tip from my wife who stood up to take our daughter to the restroom, I left nothing....read full review
The food was delicious, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly.
