Came to Texas Roadhouse, tonight for dinner. Our server Kylie was great , she did amazing. She kept coming back asking if we needed anything. Had the Cactus Bloom, very good.

It wasn't bad but it definitely didn't make us want to come back. The food was good for the most part but for that kind of money we wished we had went to a longhorn. Their menu online prices were cheaper than what we ended up paying and the sides we're more limited. They had removed salads from the sides menu. Then while we were eating dinner in what we thought was a normal restaurant they started blasting some Texas country song and dancing in front of our table like some cult following their deranged leader. That was weird and uncomfortable. It's a restaurant not a theme park. I don't see us going back anytime soon. I would have rather drove 40 minutes out of town to a Chili's or a longhorn.

Ladies bathroom needed a bit of cleaning done. Toliet paper all over the floor.
It took over an hour for our meals. 2 kids meals, a steak, burger, country fried chicken, and the bbq chiken/ribs. We didnt have to wait for our table for less than 5 minutes. But when leaving lots of people were their and waiting.

The music was blasting unusually louder than what is typical. It's a restaurant not a bar. Couldn't even have a conversation.
I was extremely disappointed and alarmed to find a piece of plastic in the smothered chicken I ordered on 10/4/25. This is a serious food safety hazard that could have led to choking or injury.
I alerted the server, who said that she would raise concern to the managers. Not only did she never mention it again, but not one manager came to our table to discuss the matter further. I would be terrified if a child or elderly individual got the same dish and choked.
