Overpriced garbage food. Had to wait forty minutes to receive our lunch and it was cold. Soup was inedible and tasted days old. French dip was devoid of meat and lacked flavor. All I tasted was undercooked onions. Aujus tasted like dirty dishwater. This place is nothing but a tourist trap. Waste of money. The only reason why we did not complain was that we didn't want to make a scene. 45 minutes to wait for food in an empty restaurant...get it together Olde Mill!!!

Very disappointing experience. There was 7 in our party. We were not allowed to join tables. Only half the restaurant was open. Manager said he had help issues (one girl wrapped silverware for 20 minutes). Constantly had a wait. Wouldn't it make more since to open up the entire restaurant and give them free drinks and apologize? At least they could sit. Apparently no. They made them wait 15-20 minutes and just watch 8 tables. Such a shame. Been there times before but will never go back or recommend. Prices aren't that cheap either. One bright spot is the warm coffee cake served with their specials. It's awesome.

The food was good. Great atmosphere. Huge dining room with ample seating. The down side was the service. We waited probably about an hour or more for our food. Did not have drink refills or checked in on by our server. Idk what the issue was, many people that came after us were served before us. We didn't order anything difficult. Soup, sandwiches, chicken tenders. Menu items that should only have taken minutes. My party didn't receive their meals at same time. So then others were practically done eating while we were still waiting for our food. I still don't understand what happened here. We dined early before 5pm. We were one of the first to arrive. No other tables. It filled while we were waiting & MANY others that arrived after us, ate before us. Idk if was our server that was the problem or what. We were not in a rush but the wait was ridiculous being over an hour! Shame, the food was ok but the service was so bad that I would not return

The only saving grace for this restaurant was the top quality staff that is employed here. Every employee with whom we made contact was friendly, courteous and very professional. Our server was very prompt to ensure that our orders were taken in a timely manner and our drinks were refreshed as needed. I had ordered the french dip sandwich and it was a huge disappointment. The meat was overly cooked and tasted like it had been frozen and reheated in a microwave oven. Blech. The amount of meat was very scant, perhaps 3 ounces at best, and I'm being very generous at that estimate. The bread roll was very dense, chewy and with a thick crust, so it was a bit challenging to take a bite of my sandwich. The au jus was definitely out of a can and had the taste & saltiness of beef bullion. The sweet tea was just that, sweet, not a true southern sweet tea. The tea was cloudy, had a very weak tea flavor, was overly sweetened, and contained no fresh fruits like orange, grapefruit or peach slices, and no garnish such as spearmint leaves. It tasted like sugar water with a hint of tea flavor. So all in my dining experience was not as good as expected due to the poor quality of my food & drink.

On our first day here in PA the wife and I were looking for a local restaurant, something unique to the area. It was on a Sunday so our choices were limited. The PA Dutch communities observe the sabbath so they do not conduct business on Sunday. Anyway we found the Olde Mill, drove there and on first sight had second thoughts (trust your gut feelings) that turned out justified. First know that this is the restaurant located in the Best Western motel, the typical coffee bar offered in this type of location. I don't have a problem with that but we didn't have any information indicating that it was until we arrived. We arrived for lunch, seating was fast no wait. There were others dining so we continued on. They have a limited menu that varies from fish to pot roast to chicken parmigiana, several salads and sandwiches. I had a burger and fries (playing it safe) and my wife had the meatloaf. The burger was good (not the best I've ever had but okay) the fries were fresh, hot and crispy. The meatloaf was not like anything either of us expected, maybe they just do it differently here. There are numerous versions of meatloaf we've experienced many of them all with their own special flavor and texture. The meatloaf served here is best described as four slices of Spam covered with brown gravy. It really was disgusting and I told her to order something else or at least not eat it for fear of how it could affect her later, but she insisted in following through as bad as it was. The sides were mashed potatoes and peas. The potatoes were okay, a bit thin and likely not made fresh, probably frozen. The peas were tasteless, seemed like they were just out of the freezer, not good at all. If you're going to eat here I would recommend sticking to items off the grill or possibly a salad. The service was great, our server was always available, prompt, friendly and helpful. Did not have to wait for refills or the check. Despite the quality of the meal, the cost was on the high side. Even if it had been delicious it was too expensive for what we received.

Over 600 reviews and lots of photos, I will keep this very short. The building this restaurant sits in has an interesting history that is posted on the wall as you enter. It is part of the hotel. We didn't stay here, but came for breakfast based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. It appears that many of the hotel guests also eat here. The breakfast menu was pretty much standard fare, and that is great with me. The food was well prepared and Juanita was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. We would eat here again.

We were staying at the Best Western and two nights we had dinner after a day out. Dinner is ok. Chili was good and my soup. I did hear guests stating food not fresh and was not feeling well. We had breakfast and morning and it was very good

No restaurants other than chains are open in the area on Monday evenings so this was our choice. Meal of turkey dinner was tasty. Oven roasted - I don't think so. Dressing was homemade and tasty. Green beans had been frozen and were crisp and also tasty. Baked potato was the perfect size and baked fresh that day - one could definitely tell!!!

Restaurant has a lodge feel to it. Greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly greeted by server to get drink orders. Meal was out in timely matter. Food was exceptionally delicious. The stuffing that comes with the turkey platter is some of the best I’ve had, it too salty. Overall a wonderful dining experience and will definitely come back and refer people here!
