We decided to try Taormina’s after purchasing a Groupon. Brooke was our server. She was friendly and attentive. We had the Chicken Milanese which came with a side of pasta and the Cavatelli with shrimp and broccoli. Both meals were delicious and plentiful. We took home leftovers so we could enjoy a brownie sundae for dessert.

Love the pizza here. Usually stop in for lunch because it’s close by and convenient, but the restaurant itself also has a really nice interior if you want to sit down and dine in. Great spot for both a quick takeout order or a relaxed meal.

great food, everything's fresh, hot and delish! BYOB Seafood and veal dishes are wonderful, and pasta is too good to leave. nice atmosphere. if you have time to sit and relax, order the brooklyn pizza,the thin crispy crust pizza is worth the wait. the taorminas special salad is good, add shrimp or crabmeat (they give plenty) and it's a meal. go once, you'll be back again & again

Just had lunch on Wednesday and the food was excellent as usual but you took off the angel hair with shrimp and crab meat and replaced it with something similar but not the same. Wish you'd bring it back.

My family and I have been coming to Taormina’s for years for special occasions, and it’s always been a local favorite for my wife and me because of the positive experiences we’ve had in the past. Unfortunately, our Mother’s Day dinner was extremely disappointing and will likely be our last visit.

We had a 5:00 PM reservation, and the restaurant was only partially seated at that time, so it did not appear overly busy. Despite that, the service felt inattentive throughout the meal. Having worked in fine dining for over 10 years, I understand the importance of hospitality and guest touch points, and our server fell well below expectations. There was little engagement, communication, or attentiveness during service.

My mother and I both ordered ribeyes—one medium and one medium rare. I specifically requested Pittsburgh medium rare, but was told it could not be accommodated due to an issue with the cookware. When the steaks arrived, both were cooked closer to well done. Beyond the temperature, the quality and cut of the meat itself were very poor, especially at a $40 price point. The potatoes were cold while the vegetables were hot, which made the plates feel rushed and inconsistent.

Additionally, my daughter’s meal arrived about five minutes after everyone else’s. When our entrees were dropped off, no one communicated that her chicken nuggets would be delayed, and our server was nowhere to be found during the wait. When the food finally arrived, there was no acknowledgment or apology.

This experience was frustrating, especially on Mother’s Day at a restaurant we’ve supported for years. I’m sharing this feedback because I hope it’s taken seriously, but unfortunately this visit significantly changed our perception of the restaurant.

I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant but lately not so much…. Up charging $3.00 for cavatelli pasta when pasta already comes with the meal, a charge to use a credit card and $11 for a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! They should put dessert prices on the menu just like they now have a wine menu. Used to be a BYOB but now only on Wednesdays. I guess all the extra charges went towards the liquor license.
