We were having a picnic at the park across the road and needed some plastic knifes, so my wife went over here to look at the menu and get some utensils. She said that when she asked the attendant she was extremely rude. We didn't order any ice cream because of this so I don't know if the food is good.

Ordered a banana pudding hard serve ice cream cone in a dish....4 dollars later we got vanilla soft serve without a cone in a dish.....it's always something at this place....good luck to anyone that tries

MUST READ ....... I've never been this disappointed. Ordered a milk shake and a Philly sandwich. After 10 minutes the cook didn't have the sandwich. So I ordered a burger. 10 more minutes the cook said no burgers. Had to get a refund. Mean while the shake turned to water. And was horrible. I use to go there all the time. Never again. Errrrrrrr

I used to really enjoy coming here but I think over time it's gone downhill a lot. Last time we went there ice cream machine wasn't working and rather than just letting us know that from the beginning they served us vanilla ice cream with no flavoring and then later cheesecake ice cream that was basically almost liquid already because it wasn't solidifying enough in the machine. The staff didn't really seem to know what was going on and everything we ordered suffered. We also got fries and cheese sticks the fries were so overdone that they were hard and crispy and then the cheese sticks were somehow not melty despite it all apparently being fresh from the fryer. It seems that over the last few years this place has fallen into a state of disarray.

Excellent service tonight. Staff was friendly. Root beer floats were great.
We tried to order flavored baby cones and the lady said we can’t flavor baby cones so o said ok make them small. They wrote down small and charged us for small. When they brought out the cones, the 2 “small” were much smaller than the actual small that they brought out afterwards. 30 min later, my son was still waiting for his cone while they proceeded to serve everyone else in line behind us. I politely asked him if his cone was coming soon and they said yes we are just trying to make everything else first. I said that’s not right serving the people behind us first. She said she was sorry. Finally gave us the cone and said they claimed they thought they already sent it out. The employees were using the f word multiple times. The manager, I assume, just yelled at the employees for not doing things right. Everyone there agreed that it was never like this any other time.

When this place is is open (seasonal) it can be be extremely busy the food and ice-cream is always good and worth the wait though they have some picnic tables to sit and eat at but most take it back to their vehicles
Parking: You either find a spot along the street in front of the building or park in the lot across the street from it
Kid-friendliness: There are lots of kids items on the menu
