Veal Scalopini a la Marsala had a thick mushroom gravy. Seemed to miss the Marsala. Husband loved a special with shrimp and scallops. Tiramisu had a base cake-like layer that was too mushy. Seemed to have been refrigerated for too long.

Very charming. The owner immigrated from Italy. He and his sons keep it going. It was the best marinara I’ve ever had, and you’ve got to try the ice cream!

Take it from a 3rd Generation Irish-Italiano, been going here now and again since I was a tot, Ciccanti's is an absolute staple. My father's side loved this place and it hasn't changed a bit. (Sometimes that's a good thing, people!)
Genuine, classic atmosphere that attracts polite clientele everytime I've been there. Great food that incompasses the best of Mama-used-to-make comfort foods like lasagna, spaghetti, and alfredo yet doesn't slack on more nuanced flavors and beautiful plating featured in their veal and seafood dishes. They punch way above their weight in flavor, style, and pricing.
Don't forget the spumoni on the way out!
Love these folks, love their restaurant, been with my family in sickness and in celebration, bless 'em!
