“This is one of the best Italian and pizza places I have visited here in da Burgh! Highly recommend the place. Portions are large and all home made I think!! Wonderful service from Ms. Liz.Dietary restrictions: Have gluten free pizza for all pizzas and gluten pasta too!!”
“I am speechless it’s been a while since I dined out and everything came together to have an excellent meal.I now know what authentic Italian food at its best tastes like .The absolute best marinara sauce ,everything my family ordered was delicious.Great service ,great food,I love the atmosphere. This will be are go to place now.”
“The best and cheapest breakfast around. We are there at least 2xs a wk. If you haven't tried it you are missing out. The best pancakes, waffles and bacon!!!”
“Great staff super friendly and pizza was done within the time frame they said online. Pizza was delicious we got the combo, the cheese tasted good and all the veggies and meats were packed with flavor. My only complaint is wish the crust was a little crispier, but that’s a personal opinion, might ask for it well done next time, but overall very good pizza. Free breadsticks when you order over 30$ worth of food. Bread sticks were delicious! Garlicky, crispy outside and soft pillowy inside. Wings were decent, good spice.”
“We came here for my sister's birthday and ordered crab Rangoon, fried pork belly, vegetable samosa, momo dumplings, red, yellow, and green curries, and also the spicy noodles. The crab Rangoon and fried porkbelly were our table's favorites and the momo dumplings were super tender. The fried chicken breast on the spicy noodles were very tender ? overall a fantastic experience at a super friendly family owned restaurant. Would highly recommend!”
“Beyond being some of the (if not the sole) best Italian food I have ever had, what stands out most about Dish Osteria is their commitment to true hospitality; we arrived early to have drinks at the bar, and from the start we were treated with care and true personal interest. The bartender was so insightful and walked us through the menu, answering any questions we might have so that we could order our dinner with ease (it was last Wednesday at 8PM— I forget his name, but please give him his flowers. He was amazing!). I had the Little Bird bourbon cocktail and absolutely loved it. This level of care continued as we moved to our table for dinner. Our waiter and host went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal, refreshing our bread without us having to ask (that homemade focaccia was dangerous— we couldn’t stop eating it!), suggesting wine pairings, and also allowing us to taste two options when we couldn’t choose. Every single dish we ordered was phenomenally crafted and delicious ; we ordered the Gamberi shrimp and grilled artichoke salad to start, followed by the short rib ragu gnocchi and rigatoni with smoked scamorza for our entrees (I will dream about both of these dishes for some time). For dessert, we had the lemon cello cheesecake, which was perfectly balanced with sweet and tangy flavors. Our waiter also provided us with a complimentary glass of moscato with our dessert. This was a phenomenal first experience at this restaurant and I cannot wait to come back. I’m also gifting a visit here to some of my friends for their anniversary and can’t wait for them to try it as well!”
“Very very good, small curated menu with lots of freshness. Very good service, alekhya was extremely sweet and gave good suggestions.Had a great time.Vegetarian options: Yes”

“Everything is amazing - the drinks, food, service, ambiance. It’s been a while since I’ve come across a cafe in Pittsburgh that has it all - highly recommend!”
“I got a Tres Leches cake for my husband’s birthday. I was looking for a Tres leches cake at the last moment and this amazing bakery had one on stock and it met my needs. Highly recommended for Mexican desserts ❤️ 10/10 for this one ?”
“Delicious shawarma sandwiches, meat pie, hummus , falafel!Genuine homemade taste and quality.Vegetarian options: HummusBabaSleekSpinach pieSalads including tabboulehKid-friendliness: Laid back”
“Absolutely delicious and server was so nice!We loved the tandoori chicken, cheesy garlic naan, masala fries and paneer tikka masala!Dietary restrictions: Good options for vegan and vegetarianKid-friendliness: There were families with children”
“A truly unique atmosphere! Had a cigar & whiskey in the cigar lounge which was a really unique (speakeasy) like experience.Dining room was very comfortable. It’s an open concept but it’s not loud. Menus are tablets which can dial in allergies or certain profiles you’re looking for with food, wine, liquors & cigars. You can tell a lot of thought went into the little details. Which is impressive.Dinner- venison loin was cooked perfectly & everything that was on the plate tasted great. Sommelier provided great wine recommendations for courses. Server was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!”
“ECHT is an eclectic yet laid back spot where you can try great food and catch up with friends or enjoy some solo dining. The physical space is intriguiging to look at, and they have a wide variety of items including but not limited to coffee, tea, cocktails, and breakfast and lunch fare.”
“Wendy the waitress was amazing. She did a fantastic job and was always there to serve our needs. The pasta on the menu was amazing as was all the sides we had. The only down side was that I wanted a Bolognaise pasta and Wendy told me that it was not on the menu, but they could make up a batch for me. First off, unlike the other pasta's on the menu that were amazing, the Bolognaise dish that the chef threw together for me was mediocre at best. Not to mention, I was charged $46 for the sauce and $3 for the noodles? For a plate of pasta that was not good at all. When all of the other dishes offered much more of a delicious pasta at half the cost. Long story short, don't order off the menu and you will enjoy this very much.”
“This was my first time here. I highly recommend. The environment was friendly and full of different groups of people having a blast. Some were watching the game on the big TV's, some were playing the available board games. The music was poppin'!!! People of all ages were there which I thought was cool. Everyone was having a blast and I will be back. Staff was friendly and helpful!”
“Clean and colorful, all-gender friendly, delicious coffee cakes, very nice owner. He really has a sense of community and is using his space to do good in the community through neighborhood clean-ups, chess events for all levels, and more. Check it out.”
“Awesome bakery with lots of unique and delicious items! They aren’t just a bakery with sweet treats, but also serve boba, dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice I believe. It’s an awesome place. I tried the egg tarts, cream puffs, and crispy pineapple buns. The egg tarts were quite tasty. Not too strong of a flavor and relatively light, for an egg tart. They are small and perfect for a quick dessert. Nothing too crazy, but simple and tasty. The pineapple bun unfortunately didn’t have any real pieces of pineapple on it. But, it was still very good. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy, and airy. It is not heavy by any means. The top is crispy and sugary, but the bun itself doesn’t have a ton of flavor. There’s something in the middle but it’s not too discernible. Still, quite tasty. Finally, the cream puff. This was huge and delicious! It was filled with tons of cream, which was surprisingly not too sweet, and more buttery, almost. The dough is also tasty, similar to that of the bun. I’d highly recommend this. All in all, this is an amazing bakery in Mt. Lebo, and one of the few Asian bakeries near the city. Great menu, solid prices, lots of variety. Check it out!Kid-friendliness: Lots of sweet treats for kids”
“Picked up a cod dinner for my husband. He is very picky about what he eats. He was more than delighted about the cod pieces. Perfect amount of breading, and perfect amount of cod. The gentleman at the check out area was very friendly and personable. I spotted the pie slices as I was leaving the store. I will defiantly be back for food and desert.”
“2nd trip here - changed up service to counter only. Order at counter, grab a table and they bring you your order. Food delicious as last time. Homemade baked goods - my wife loves their English muffins - used in their breakfast sandwiches and available for separate purchase. Sandwiches are huge. Get to Mt Oliver before summer 24 when they relocate to New Brighton. You won't be disappointed.”
“Dawn was such a cheerful person, greeting us immediately and talking to us like old friends. Was a great first trip and we will be back! Many flavors to choose from!”
“Best place for coffee in all of the South Hills.Reginald’s has a wonderful selection of coffee drinks and beans to purchase for home. My favorite thing about Reginald’s is the staff. Talk about nice and personable. Can’t get this at Starbucks, at least not in my experience. Their little gift shop of trinkets make great gift ideas, too. Felt Like it By Mary makes these fun pierogi pillows that are on my wishlist this X-Mas.Dietary restrictions: Oat milk options.Parking: The parking lost is getting a makeover. Hoping this will free-up more spots. Sometimes we park on the street. No big deal, though.Kid-friendliness: Very patient and friendly with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.”
“Visited with a friend for dinner yesterday. No wait on a Saturday night. We shared the pakora starter. I got the jollof rice with tofu. My friend got the black bean bowl with rosemary potatoes and a mint lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone from the waitstaff to the owner (who came over to introduce himself) were so nice and welcoming. Very reasonably priced. I can't wait to come back and try more. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-31”
“Took my mom here for dinner tonight after the recommendation of a friend. I got the pork chop with mashed potatoes and carrots and she got the meatloaf. The food was excellent, the staff was very attentive and nice. We ended are meal with a piece of the baklava cheesecake (honestly the best piece of cheesecake I've ever had), before the check was even brought my mom was already making plans to bring her brother and his wife. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends highly recommend.”
“*Come here for the BEST vegan cinnamon rolls EVER* While in Pittsburgh for vacation, we learned about this all vegan bakery! WOW! So glad we stopped in for a morning treat! Beautiful store front with the sweetest ladies- we were welcomed by soooo many (all vegan!) goodies! We got a massive choco chip cookie & cinnamon roll to go! The cookie was massive, still hot from the morning baking, melty, doughy & delicious! The cinnamon roll was legit the BEST I’ve ever had! Mind blown! First off, it was huge. It was super doughy in the inside but perfect flake on the outside. Loaded with melted frosting, cinnamon - it was perfect. I have had a LOT of vegan baked goods in my life time but this place knows what’s up! Vegan or not- come here for the best massive cinnamon rolls of your life.”
“Let me start by saying they have great pizza and their hot wings were great! The place is small so it's kinda hard to get a seat. Their also located on a cobble stone which sucks to drive and park on BUT with all of that said, people keep going there because it's good food. Great group of guys working there as well.”
“Espresso and egg Benedict’s were ridiculously good. Highly recommend. The eggs Benedict remind me of New Orleans they are so good. And it’s always nice to find a place that has good espresso. They made the perfect real macchiato(not the Starbucks abomination)”
“Vegetarian options: All of the burgers can have a vegetarian patty swapped.Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids when I went but I wouldn't really recommend for kids. The only kids food item is a junior burger and the environment isn't really kid-friendly.”
“Mmm! Homemade lasagna and Italian wedding soup. Some of the best I've ever had. In a tiny hole in the wall place, tucked under the highway. Quick, friendly service in a cozy pub atmosphere.”
“I have eaten alot of pizza Im my days In alot of different places .this is one of the best I ever had.and the staff is super at Rim monkeys .and the booze is grate .they make a good drink”
