A history of the place is on the back wall as you wait or after you get your ice cream. Parking is available. They serve arctic swirls which are amazing (think a Blizzard but better). Pages is another classic must when you visit Pittsburgh.”

“I tried 1:11 Juice Bar at the August Wilson Birthday Block Party. It was the drink everybody wanted. It was so fresh and good. I bought 4 and took a picture with my family drinking ours. I contemplated driving an hour and a half to get a pizza from a place that I KNOW is safe! “Having recently visited Puerto Rico, I was curious if I would be able to find a place locally that could live up to everything I had during my time in PR before my next trip. Pittsburgh has a lot of great restaurants, but very few Puerto Rican restaurants. Secretos De Mis Abuelos far exceeded my expectations. We had the Mofongo Rellenos con Pollo Guisad, Rice & Beans, the best Tostones, AND, the best Tres Leches cake I ever had! (Not hyperbole. Full stop.) I can't remember the last time I had a meal that brought me so much joy. This place is an absolute love letter to the food and culture of Puerto Rico, and if you've never had the opportunity to experience it, I strongly suggest you stop sleeping on it. “I’ve been meaning to try this place for a little while now and finally got around to it, with a friend of mine. The place itself is lovely, very clean, lots of open space, and lovely staff. I got to try their classic latte with skim milk (I think, or some plant based milk) and my friend had their super fruit tea.

I regret not being a bit more adventurous with my order, but it was a very solid latte nonetheless. Great portion, great art, very creamy despite it not being whole milk.

My friend was a little disappointed with their fruit tea. Portion seemed to be noticeably smaller by a good bit. There was an option to sweeten it that they opted not to do and probably should have done!

All in all, very nice spot in Homestead. There’s even a little place to get water. Definitely recommend this coffee shop.”
