CALL FIRST! We did not have a reservation and they kindly served us.... but it seemed as though they typically only accept diners that have called ahead. Food was excellent! We tried the shrimp scampi, manicotti, and DeFazio chicken. I'd recommend any of them. We will be going back.

Had Mother’s Day dinner a bit early as most of the mothers will be out of town on the actual day. The food was top notch - it seems to be all scratch made. My dinner partner wanted the Seafood Americano but without the shrimp - so the Chef made a special order just for her - now that is service. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca which was fantastic. I spanned the pictures after we had started but you get the idea. The salads are served family style and they are plentiful. The house dressing is really outstanding as well. Limited wine menu but it all worked well and our server was spot on - not a note pad in sight and never made a mistake. Hidden gem - we will be back. Get a reservation and go enjoy some scratch made cooking right on RT51! ?

Great place even tho they recommend reservation due to home made ingredients we were still given a table. Must try their alfredo sauce.
If you are looking for food that is real and made with a passion and love, eat here! This was our first of many visits! Almost everything we ordered was made from scratch and delicious. Service was good too!You should make a reservation before you go :)
Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu. Our 5 year old LOVED the homemade ravioli, and actually ate all of it, including the mini garlic bread.
Parking: Easy
Passed this gem a million times. It's a nice stop for a bit of Italian. A homey atmosphere with a good service. Would definitely eat here again
Tried to get a reservation for our 54th wedding anniversary, no one answered. We were passing it on our way to Driscolls at 4:30, and no cars there. My husband knocked on the door, and no one answered. He called and told them we were out front. No one there eating, but told us we could come to eat at 6:30. We left and had a great meal at Driscolls.
I've been there when the place is completely empty and they asked if I have a reservation. Very pretentious for a place that used to be an f'n Dairy Queen. The food and service are average.
Excellent Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The reason you are asked to make a reservation I was told is because the owner makes the pasta fresh every day and needs to know how many guests to expect. A little quirky I know but most definitely worth it. Incidentally I have never seen anyone turned away who didn’t have a reservation. Highly recommend.

Always a great night out. Never had a bad meal
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, amazing staff. Go! Go now!!!!
I guess you must have a reservation - even if the restaurant only had 1 table eating in an otherwise empty restaurant. We walked into a restaurant with only 1 table of people eating - the rest all empty. They asked if we had a reservation, and we did not. The host / waitress went back to ask & all we could hear was a man yelling about it. So we left. The hostess came to door and said the chef said it was okay. We said no thank you - especially after hearing the yelling from the back. Didn't want to chance the meal prepared by an angered chef.
Just great Italian food cooked a little differently.
Their good is always amazing.
