Coal Miner's Diner serves excellent homemade food, including great burgers, desserts, and real turkey dishes like the Turkey over Biscuits lunch. The food is well prepared, with highlights such as their liver and onions and exceptional gravy. Despite some variations in service, staff are generally attentive, efficient, and quick to check back with you. The diner has a unique atmosphere, with private rooms paying homage to mining and Flight 93, and offers both inside and outside seating, including wheelchair accessibility. Since redecorating, the dining area is much nicer and seats more people. While most experiences are great, some guests have noted unexpected charges for items like takeout boxes or birthday gob cakes. Overall, it's a wonderful family-owned business that's definitely worth a visit.
