“Had a reservation for a party of 10. They were all ready for us when we arrived. Downside is for a Pub, they don't have any beer on tap. They do have a bar and beer in the bottle or cans. Only other Downside was I had a hair in my salad which they took care of. They had a lot of great options on the menu. Really good specials featuring delicious stuff. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the special portobello stuffed mushroom pasta. It was delicious. The portions were also big in size. If I lived here I would definitely be returning and trying all the stuff. I would recommend.”

“Cafe Dodie quickly became my favorite local coffee shop after my first visit and my love for this place has only grown. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. The staff are kind and their service is outstanding. The drinks never disappoint, and the constant rotation of flavors keeps me excited and coming back for more (though I’d still come back even if it was the same few drinks). “Recently went for wine ? tasting at this venue. First I would like to say staff were very welcoming & accommodating. A local band was scheduled for that date who played a plethora of music genres. The population there were very friendly as well. Price point for their wines was affordable as well as the souvenirs and food. Plenty of parking available. I Highly suggest a visit to them.”

“The Steakhouse Special is phenomenal. Cooked to order, the 16-ounce carnivore's delight is truly special. I enjoyed the chicken and dumplings soup as a starter, then followed that with a great salad with a feta dressing. Onion rings were better than average, and the twice baked potato wasn't embarrassed to accompany the juicy steak. I will return and strongly suggest you make a visit when in the area.”

“We had a medium bacon, pepperoni pizza. A medium stromboli with 5 toppings. Both were very good. Pizza was fresh and warm. Real cooked bacon. The stromboli was more of a large then a medium stuffed full. Delivery was fast. He's always so nice. We will continue to go here regularly.”

“The first pizza order I placed was not good. Cold and burned a little. It was the gluten free pizza. The driver was very nice and apologized for the long wait. I called the manager/owner and he couldn't have been nicer. He replaced the pizza and the replacement was perfectly done. I was very impressed by his gracious attitude and willingness to make it right. And the 2nd pizza was excellent. Good business ethics and customer service.”

Instead of the cracked they gave me garlic parmasean and instead of the Buffalo ranch they gave me three honey mustard. It was good but I didn't get what I fully ordered and I really wanted to try the tolgate cracked wings. The waitress was extremely nice and we waited about 30-40 minutes. “Great staff. Almost like a little mom and pop's shop. Their ice cream is wonderful and the gobs is great too. They even have a restroom if you need to stop by, don't forget to grab a sub! Tastes fresh and mm hits the spot especially after a long trip whether it be a ride or a hike!”

The chicken was barbecued / catered by George's Champion Chicks, Champion, PA. and the chicken was from Oaks Poultry Co. Inc., Stoystown, PA. The entire meal was outstanding featuring one half barbecued chicken, macaroni salad, baked beans, italian bread and butter, a variety of desserts, and choice of drinks. The dinner was a fundraiser for the parish and the meal was takeout or dine-in. I highly recommend the chicken from this dinner. It was cooked to perfection by the caterer and blessed by God. Thank you to all involved in this annual event !!!”
