“The entire experience was reminiscent of days past, dining in restaurants as a kid growing up in the 80s. The whole staff at Rizzo’s hasn’t forgotten things like service and respect. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff friendly, and we even got a table visit by the chef. Thank you for the memorable evening, we will most certainly be repeat customers.”

“Grew up here in town. Always having parties and get togethers. Beautiful interior with pure Windber Nostalgia. Plus the pizza and bread are the second best in Windber. They've been there since the 60s so somethings gotta be right!!Parking: Small Lot but plenty of auxiliary spots with a free library a half a block away..Kid-friendliness: They will accommodate any child no matter the situation. And even cut their food up if they are fussy. Love these Servers..Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and good spots for handicapable people to easily access.”

“Had a nice time. Nice clean friendly atmosphere . The waitress Lori was quite busy but still was ontop with making sure you had a drink , and didn't have to wait . The drinks themselves were very good not too strong , but flavorful with a clean presentation. I myself didn't order food this time , but there wings are the best around Windber. Bought 20 worth of tickets there and won $150. So that was another nice surprise.Parking: Wasn't hard to find a spot to park at on the street .”

These folks at the Winber Hotel should have an extra star in each category plus one more for community, and in that category, they deserve big ?. I look forward to eating there often. “I absolutely love it here. The food is always delicious and fresh. The bread he makes by scratch and you can tell. The breads are not heavy and they do not have all the filler that grocery stores have. The breads are all light and flakey. The asiago bagels are amazing!!! The smash burgers are the best around. Family atmosphere. Everyone is so polite, personable, and friendly. I go at least once a week. Amazing breakfast and lunch spot. Casual meetings or friends meeting, the perfect place.”

“We drove about 45 mins to try this pizza shop that was recommended to us by a few people.I will say it was worth the drive. We got a sampler of four different toppings. They were all good (meatball, seafood, cheesesteak and Italian sub) but the Italian sub was the best. We will definitely be getting that one again. Great service and great prices.”

“As fairly new residents of Johnstown, we found out about Scott's by Dam through co-workers who raved about the food. They were right. Everything we had was great. The menu has a lot to offer. The place isn't big by any stretch of the imagination but as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted like old friends by Scott. He came by our table to check on us several times during our meal and cracked some jokes and interacted with all of his customers. What was especially endearing was the way he interacted with a mom and her young daughter who came in to pickup an order to go. They were obviously regulars and Scott leaned down and handed the little girl a bag of potato chips and she lit up. Scott and his wife are huge supporters of the Johnstown Tomahawks so it's nice to have a local family owned business that cares about the community. We will definitely be back!”

“Wow! What a wonderful restaurant! I live in Atlanta and it can be hard to find a great Jamaican restaurant in my town of 9 million. But, look no further Johnstown residents! I could not decide between the j*** chicken and the oxtails. So, I got both! Each one was fall off the bone tender and the juices soaked up the rice.And, the collards and the cabbage are outstanding. I am not sure what the secret ingredient is in each vegetable, but they are very tasty.I will try a vegetable plate next time as I will try the other vegetables too.This is a very welcome addition to the community.
