“Stopped here on the way home and tried the Smoked Trio special. I'm so glad I did! The smoked brisket tasted awesome and melted like butter in your mouth. The ribs peeled off the bones just like I want them too and the smoked sausage was spicy and flavorful. I decided on the fries and these weren't your normal stick fries, they were more like very thick potato chips. Very nice twist on that. I really hope they make this special a regular menu item.”

“My girlfriend and I wondered in to Nanty Glo off the Ghost Town Bike Trail on Saturday April 4 during the COVID-19 lockdown. Almost all businesses were closed and we decided to bike thru town only to find Al's OPEN for takeout. We got to enjoy some delicious pizza slices, a cold drink and a piece of Al's delicious homemade pie. If you're biking in, make Al's a must-stop.
